Ohio St. struggling against Indiana

Notre Dame just lost to Clemson

Notre Dame will be hard pressed to beat USC, and may even have their hands full with Pitt, who seems to finally have hired a competent coach.

I think Notre Dame blows SC out the water. Just cause I hate the Trojans. Pitt has talent no doubt, and can see them playing ND tough

If Notre Dame's receivers catch the ball, they probably win. Tough to play in Death Valley under those conditions though.

Meyer needs to make a QB Switch. C. Jones has regressed.

As a Buckeyes fan, they certainly haven't looked great. But NOBODY has been a clear, best of the best team this season. Honestly, my top 4 in order, RIGHT NOW, are TCU, Ohio St, LSU, Michigan St. You know at least one of the Big 10 teams will be out at the end. Don't count out teams like Oklahoma or Florida. Bama may be in at the end as well.

You obviously haven't seen the times that JT played this year. If he had come in in relief and played like he did last year, Meyer would have made the switch. It would have been an easy and justified decision. But, he didn't. One of the main problems with tOSU this year is that they have gotten pass happy. You have one of the best backs in the nation ... feed him. Rely on him. Trust him.

Seems like Buckeye fans are divided on this. When I texted my buddy Saturday when the game was anyone's for the taking, he texted back that he thought JT should have been the starter all season.

I know some folks who feel the same way. But JT was given a couple of opportunities to show that he would perform better than Cardale and he didn't. Seems like he was intent on matching Cardale mistake for mistake and INT for INT. Given that, I would do as Urban did and stick with the guy I chose as the starter at the beginning of the season. I would however start featuring Zeke Elliot a little (OK, a LOT) more.

I've seen enough to know OSU has a good OL. Jones is turing the ball over too much. Just 5 TD passes, and 5 INT's. There's the problem. And I agree they have become too pass happy, but with a better QB who can read the defense and make the right selection OSU's skill players I think would be much better.

And you believe Barrett is that better QB? I'm not knocking/mocking you, I'm asking. If so, why? I haven't seen any evidence in the times that he's gotten on the field that he is a better option than Jones at this point. Same poor decisions with a lesser arm.
They can't go to Miller right now as it's pretty obvious he can't throw anymore. If he was able to, I think they would have called a pass or two by now when he takes the direct snap or they put him in as the QB.

1 loss though right? I think if they win on out they are in. I don't see Pac 12 team or SEC east team making it in

Right now the Gators are undefeated...if they run the table, they are in.

Yes, I do. JT Barrett is a more accurate ( 63.6% ), and a better runner. He has 36 TD's and 12 INT's

Jones is less accurate. ( 59.8% ) He has 12 TD's 7 Int's and seems to hesitate too much. Hesitation is terrible in a QB. Jones seems to have hit the wall now that there is enough tape on him.

Does that help answer the question?

You mean pending sanctions followed by a "health problem" where Urb runs away from the consequences.

in all fairness to Meyer, he didn't have any NCAA sanctions while at Florida or Utah, but he didn't exactly run stellar programs either. He's a GREAT coach as long as he's the hunter...and as long as he's got an OC. When Mullen left after the 2008 National Championship, the Florida offense (even with Tebow, Rainey, Demps, Murphy and Hernandez) went into the tank...it was worse in 2010. Meyer is dealing with the same thing again here in 2015 and look at what Ohio State is doing...struggling against teams they shouldn't.
