Official Steelers/Ravens week 4 predictions

This is going to be ugly.

Steelers - 16
Rats - 13

It's hilarious that those picking the Steelers to lose big are the same as those wanting Tomlin fired yesterday. It's not happening folks, wallow in your misery if you must.

I'm still scratching my head as to how going for 2 at ANY point of the game is arrogant when you consider the new extra point rule change and the fact that your kicker is shaky from 20 yards out. Whatever, no one anticipates this stay any longer than the last 50 times you've come back.

it is arrogant to go for 2 early in games. They moved it up a yard but that hardly makes it automatic as we saw vs the Rams. And the missed XP could have easily cost the Steelers the game. Despite not doing **** for most of the game, the Rams offense was 1 big play away from winning the game against a steeler defense that gives out big plays like a Pez dispenser.

It was arrogant and i'd add stupid.

Ben is a huge loss but let's not forget that the Ravens suck.

They have almost no weapons on offense. Steve Smith is it and he is not a deep threat. They have no deep threat and no speed. Their OL is OK but not great. Forsett is mediocre. Baltimore is 27th in rushing. That's the staple of their offense.

On defense, the Ravens aren't that good either. Yes, they are 8th in run defense but that's because they built a big run stuffing defense in a pass happy league. They are 29th in pass defense and 27th in points allowed. They got lit up by Derek Carr. They got lit up by Andy Dalton.

I think the only way the steelers lose is if Vick turns the ball over which is possible. Vick throws a good deep ball so the Steelers should put in many deep shots to Antonio and DHB while Bell and Heath get easy completions underneath.

There may even be running room for Vick if the Steelers get the ravens spread out.

Steelers 20
Ravens 16

Offense struggles mightily ... Defense on the field most of the night.... We lose...

Hoping for a win but it will be tough.

Steelers 10
Ravens 9

Last minute FG wins it.

Bell and Williams both have big games and D comes up with a turnover or two.

Steelers 24
Rats 17

Don't even know how to predict what we can do on offense with Vick.

Steelers 20
Rats 17

Never understood all the preseason love for the Rats. They lost entirely too much.

Bell/Williams 150 yds rushing, Vick doesn't make the big mistake, Fucco does.

Steelers 20 Rats 17

Steelers 20
Rats 16

They are not the same team we've become accustomed to playing. They are 0-3 for a reason. I get the apprehension with Vick and the unknown he brings, but the defense has been solid thus far and against their pedestrian offense solid should do it.

Cover Smith and Gilmore and stop their week run. That in my mind is a defensive win. Handcuff that to Vick not turning the ball over = 27-13 Steelers

Steeler Nation 24
Rat Bird Crap 13

I needed a feel good moment so I went and visited the rats board. I feel better. They are calling to curb stomp their d coordinator and players are calling each other out in the locker room.... Always classy in murdermore.

So let's say that they did kick the extra point in that situation. That gives them 13. Then, the rams end up scoring and decide to add insult to injury to the Steelers and go for the win and go for the 2 point conversion seeing that this year has proven that extra points aren't automatic. What would your feelings have been if that was the case and the Steelers had lost? Was it still the right decision to go for the extra point? Obviously, we can play this "what if" game over and over and over. However, you know that everyone would've been up in arms had that been the outcome. I don't think it's arrogant when your kicker has shown this season to be unreliable from that distance. Might as well go for the two points when your odds are the same as an extra point.

I thought the same thing. In fact, I believe they've played the Rats more than any other team w/o Ben (injury, suspension). I believe they're 1-5?

STEELERS 24
ravens 17

as long as we are not confused about anything, we should win...as long as play calling is ground it out, we should win...
