Besides Shazier the other most encouraging aspect of Sunday's game.

Not living on the west coast I don't know much about the 49ers OL. The pats**** had 3 rookies and the DL didn't get much of a push at all. I've never heard of these OL so I don't know if they are good or just horrible players. Take nothing away from Tuitt because he beat his guy whoever he was.

Also have to consider he was still working on a high ankle sprain in the Patriots game. Plus Tom ******** gets rid of the ball so quickly.

Tuitt is developing into a very good player. I don't think he has a full year starting, but with a little experience, he will just keep getting better and better. Unlike ziggy, tuitt's off field work is translating to the field of play, that's a good thing.

Hood was so miscast as a 3-4 DE. Not that he would be a great 4-3 DE but how anybody looked at him and thought that he was a 3-4 DE is beyond me.

I love his explosiveness off the snap. Has nice moves like that swim move on that one play. Great upper body strength too. Kid's going to be great for us.

Bills have a fierce front four and couldn't get a hand on Brady either..
No one can. He gets the ball out in 2 sec. You can't even think about getting to him.

Kapernick holds the ball a lot longer like a majority of qb' s do so you can get to him.

No one is sacking Brady with a two step drop and ball out. Shallow crossing routes and his accuracy. They have a system that takes advantage of the rules. Using small speedy recovery.

Why teams don't take a couple personal fouls on him early in the game is beyond me.
Just to let him know we are gonna hit you whenever we get a chance.

I'm happy for Tuitt. He's VERY young and hopefully will continue to get stronger. D Line pressure sure helps!

Brady is the opposite. You need your secondary to take away those quick reads and passes to make him hold the ball. Then you have a chance at getting to him. It's tough though cause it seems like they run a thousand rub routes. Or their little short receivers beat you with superior quickness. Then there is Gronk....

That is why our 10 yard cushion has always pissed me off in NE. Let's just adjust for one game, even if they film our practices, and try something new. For a QB who throws two to four yard passes only, he has to dream of the day that the whole NFL adopts our defense.

Especially when you see the corners start to backpedal immediately after the ball is snapped. I could complete an 8 yard out route vs that kind of defense.

I've stopped being mad about it. It's something we've always done. I remember the Jaguars with Jimmy Smith and Brunnel completing out after out against us in off coverage. And that was with Woodson at corner. Used to drive me crazy. 3rd down and I'd be like here comes the out. Sure enough the out. SMH

Tuitt is a 1st round guy that slipped to us in Round 2. Glad to have him and yeah we may have our bookend DE's like Keisel and Smith in the last decade with Heyward and Tuitt. Now we just need some type of secondary and maybe a little activity out of Jarvis.

I like Tuitt. I've stated that from pretty much day one. But it is the same with him as Heyward. Its about consistency. And there won't be sack production consistency, but just the consistency of getting off of blocks and applying that pressure that will make this defense so much better.

The only time I turned off a Steelers game before it was decided was vs Raiders in (I think 2002) when they sat back let Rich Gannon nickel and dime them all night.

That game was disgusting. First the patriots spread us out then Raiders went to the extreme with it.

I think that was a bizarre season all together. Including a tie to Vicks Falcons, a loss to Houston in a game where we totally dominated them in yardage, and the great come from behind playoff win vs the Browns.

Then the devastating loss to the Titans which made me forever hate Fischer. Smug ****. Another reason why we can not lose to the Rams still don't like him..

The front seven had a great game as a whole, watch the GIF of the run on the goal line, Tuitt disengaged quickly off his man but look who jumped first on the runner? McLendon after getting off his man too, and who crashed against the FB? Shazier that squeezed by quick as a lightning
