I thought DL would do us a solid and cause havoc vs. Johnny Football. That Benjamin kid put in an All-Pro fantasy football performance.

I know wtf?! Maybe Lebeau's defense was the achilles heel of our team. Still early to tell. But what a turn around difference in the Steelers defense today. Still need some work "obviously". But a much improved performance

Funny how our guys didn't have any headset problems today????????????? I think DL "d" has been figured out and without the superior horses, it's below average at best.

Salute the nation

They all have weaknesses, and once the other coaches see where the holes are, better teams can exploit them, especially if the talent isn't top notch. Even at it's peak, the zone blitz had trouble with quarterbacks who were patient, and didn't mind throwing quick 5-10 yard passes like Tom Brady.

Are we all starting to realize that no team is allowed to play defense? It looks like ******* college ball out there now...

Pass here, pass there, passing everywhere. Teams scoring 40 points like it's nothing. I remember just a decade ago, when 21-28 points was pretty much a victory

At it's peak it caused ALL QB's to have nightmares the night before game day.

Consider Green Bay scored 27 points without Lacy, Bulaga, Nelson, etc. They have receivers that were flipping burgers last week.

Fixed it for you. Brady would routinely ***-rape LeBeau and his defense even when it was full of future HOF'ers. Really all you needed to win or have a decent chance of winning was a good OL and reasonably accurate QB. Again, it was just a matter that after a while other teams figured out how to beat it.

What Brady had going for him was accuracy, and the patience to not try for big plays. The zone blitz was designed to make a team have to put together 14 play drives to score a touchdown. It was difficult to make big plays against it. Brady would routinely step back, and make a short pass right into the spot vacated by the blitzer. I saw him do it again, and again, and again. Most qbs aren't patient enough to dink and dunk all the way down the field. Brady is. I can still see James Farrior coming in unblocked, only to find that the ball was already gone.
