Shazier's tackling

This is the second thread that you've made a snarky comment to me without saying anything football related. If you don't have anything of substance to say then why say anything?

Im not even trying to be a dick..

Just saying that by now we are all aware of your feelings on Tomlin.

I think he was agreeing with yinz as in Tomlin was wearing on him too..

could be wrong though

yep

No he isn't.

Everyone is aware of everyone's feelings on almost everything. So should everybody just stop posting? You say you weren't trying to be a dick but I'm sure you knew exactly how those two posts would go over. I didn't respond to the first one but it's clear with the second one that you were trying to get a response from me.

Something to always keep in mind with Tomlin. Who in the hell was he anyway? He had one year as defensive coordinator with the Vikings and up to that point defensive backs coach. He's the Obama of the NFL who comes to the Steelers literally unknown and walks out of Pittsburgh with the job. Sorry, it has Rooney Rule written all over it. Now for the substance.

He comes in here in 2007 with a team coming off an 8-8 season that had just previously come off a SB victory against the Seahawks a year prior. Not one of Cowher's most inspirational seasons in 2006 but I think his mind was definitely somewhere else. But Tomlin inherits a stacked team both on offense and defense and to boot has a young franchise QB. Not many if any coach that I can remember quits a team that loaded leaving it for the next guy. They built the team and want to ride it all the way. So Tomlin essentially hits the jackpot. He's got playmakers all over the team. He's got excellent coached in Lebeau and Ariens to help ease the transition so essentially all he has to do motivate these guys once again which he did and stay the hell out of the way. Lebeau and Ariens ran the show not Tomlin.

One of his main functions was to make sure he got up to speed on how the Steelers conducted business and the types of players they drafted and signed in F/A. In other words he should have been retooling with young players and developing them in time for when the starters started retiring. He has failed miserably. He got way too much credit for the two SB appearances than he ever should have. Those were spearheaded by some special offensive talent in Ben,Ward, Holmes, Miller and Parker and a still excellent defense but not by Tomlin.

This man does not have a clue on how to construct a winning football team and had he been hired in lets say Tampa Bay, Jacksonville, Minnesota, or Oakland for example back in 2007 where he would not have had the table set, he'd be long since fired from that job.

You couldn't school anyone on football, you equate a pass rushers skills with a DBs cover ability, moron.

A no huddle allows the offense to stay at the line of scrimmage and dictate both the pace of the game and the ability of the defense to not substitute allowing the offense to dictate matchups biut of course that is real football talk and way way way above your pay grade or intellect.

Your assuming you have a QB who can see & exploit matchups.

You avoided the question Who hs the more effective no huddle offense? NE and Philly, or the Steelers? You know the answer which is why you didn't answer. I know why teams use the no huddle. However, I maintain that it's use has become so widespread, it is commonplace. Teams know how to handle it. Therefore, it is the speed at which you do it. Fast teams like NE and Philly are causing way more headaches than a team that no huddles, but bleeds the clock down to 1 second.

Pressure and coverage go hand and hand, ya dumb dick. It is just a fact.

Are you really this stupid? The no huddle is a very effective with a good QB,m it gasses the defense and makes then=m unable to make substitutions. Only in YOUR stupid mind have defenses become able to stop the no huddle but there is NO EMPIRICAL evidence that defenses have caught up with it. Kind of like there IS empirical evidence that Jarvis is a terrible pass rusher.

You're not gonna be here very long (under this persona)...

Keep the negative superlatives at a minimum, m'kay?

Yea, but they did run no huddle. I don't know what the **** their no huddle is, though. They might just as well huddle, if you are going to no huddle and then run the clock down to 1 second before the snap. Doing that puts no pressure on the defense. They know you have to snap the ball before 0. You have to get those plays going fast. I know why they did it at the end of the 1st half, and it made sense. You don't want NE to get the ball again before the half, especially when they get the kickoff. But you have to allow yourself a chance for the TD.

I don't know, man. I know I have defended Tomlin over the years and fought with you a bit over it. But ******' a, he has been a head coach now for almost 10 years. It is time to be prepared for this ****. You have to do better than this. I am coming over to the dark side.

Again you are talking out of your ***. You do not need to hurry up to run the no huddle. Why would you huddle up moron , the no huddle offense allows the offense to dictate who plays on defense and disallows substitutions . Of course you not ******* knowing even rudimentary football is no shock, for example your claim that we cannot evaluate Jarvis Jones as a pass rusher because of our terrible secondary. LMFAO, 3 years of him playing patty cake with the OT being driven 10 yards behind the QB is enough for any astute observer.

It seems to me that this started here ^^^ yesterday. At least in this thread.

I really don't understand why he keeps making different user names to only come back to do the same things that get him banned. You obviously love this place but not enough to act like a decent human being. But I digress the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different results. Maybe the mods will get tired of banning you lol.

You know dumb dicks, you suck enough of them. We run a great no huddle the stats back it up but keep shooting blanks you ignorant piece of ****. Or make up more stories of any woman wanting your stupoid ***,

They do? The only real stat that matters is points, isn't it? And once again, this great no huddle offense, that bleeds the clock down (I thought no huddle was also used to save time, like at the end of halves) scored 3 points when they desperately needed 7.

It isn't a great no huddle not because they don't have the players, but they insist on thinking they are the Peyton Manning run Colts of the mid-2000s. Football has progressed to another level. It happens. You know we now have computers when before we had typewriters. I think to be really effective with it today you have to pressure the defense with speed and throw more plays at them. Maybe the Steelers will when they get all their players back.

Hey, you hurt my feelings a little with the dick sucking comment.

There is a difference between a hurry up and a no huddle. A no huddle can keep the defense from substituting as long as you don't. I wish they'd go to a hurry up and let Ben call the plays at the line. Right now they just get up to the line quick and wait and wait and then they are still rushed to get the play off.

CCJamison has been put thru the Spam-o-matic. That includes an IP ban on his current IP and the one he registered with. I'd be surprised if we seen another recarnation of him.
