Official Gameday Thread - Steelers/Pats*

Bucs just tied

And coaching. 10 men on the field? Confusion all night long? not excusable...this is professional football, or close to what it should be. play like it's practice...BTW, do the STEELERS practice?
Ive long been tired of watching these guys show up season after season and game after game looking uninspired and unprepared.

Take a seat, Beachum.

Do you get points for saved TO's this year?

I think so...just for the first half of the season...If you are on the west coast, it's only for the second half of the season. Unless it' rainy or under 90 degrees, then it's half of what you would normally get. Also has something to do with mascots, real animals or men in costume...I got it all written down somewhere, i'll post it tomorrow

Wheaton drops too many balls

Goodnight. Not as bad as I expected, which is a plus. But still...UGH.

Good night see u all next week!

Stay safe all.

You know the good thing about Scotch? It's the perfect drink, win or lose.

Well I guess it could have been less embarrassing. The offense moved the ball, the D had a couple stops and gave up a LOT less points than I thought they would.

But for the most part, this sucked.

Steelers just covered the spread, hollow victory but hope tons of Pat fans lost a bunch of coin!

two scobee misses and a DHB bone headed play ....

I'm actually kind of encouraged.

Most of the teams they play aren't the Patrioits, at home.

But he needs an assistant to help his poor clock management, especially late in the halves. He was in midseason form, which is not a good thing.

tomlin's post game pressers leave me so unsatsified sometimes. But wtf? They were listening to the Pats radio network the first half? What the hell?

this pats team as of today isn't good. Bad defense starting three rookies on the oline no running back. There isn't anything good to take from this game

Yep! Those missed FG's, DHB's foot on the chalk and one more. 1'st and goal from the 1 and we can't punch it in and settle for 3. As bad as this pass defense is we still could have won this game.

Oh, and poor decision by Tomlin to punt on 4th-and-3, with 8 minutes left, down 14. On the road.

Your chances are slim to begin with. They should have gone for it.

You act as if this Steelers team as of today IS good and we should be outraged. Historically horrendous defense, missing two "B's", journeyman center with limited mobility, FG kicker with the yips, one reliable WR, etc. etc. etc. So, I'll take a little moral victory and say that the *** whoopin they received was not the one I feared they would receive.

Things Conspiracy Wig would like you to note.

Bell*cheat called 2 very weird timeouts that seemed strange given the fact that the situation helped the Steelers. The timeouts stopped the clock when the Steelers needed clock-stopping late in the 1st half on late downs (a 3rd and a 4th respectively). The Pats had a comfortable lead, the ball coming to them in the 2nd half and everything to gain by allowing the clock to run and pressure to mount on the Steelers. The Steelers had NOT forced a personnel issue by running a "hurry up" and forcing a package situation. No. More likely it was a case of B*ll knowing the play call as only he and Ernie can and calling timeout because he knew he couldn't stop it.

Later in the game, When the Steelers were in a 3rd and goal (inches to score) situation, the offensive line jumped, in fact the entire left side of the line moved. Roethlisberger complained and the commentators speculated about what happened. If you watch closely to the replay, you can see what did happen. The P*ts defensive linemen simulated the snapcount, drawing the linemen off. Typical weak-*** P*triot bullshit. They can't beat you straight up, so they cheat.

Still later, after the game is virtually decided the Steelers are making their final drive of the night and Roethlisberger makes a great throw deep into cheater territory but it's negated due to an illegal hands to the face call. It seems a P*triot player's helmet was torn free by the violent wrenching of an offensive lineman's hands. The very next play the same P*triot players helmet is again violently torn free when he bumps into Rothelisberger and sacks him. His helmet snaps don't work. More P*triot cheating bullshit.

This is what I've been trying to explain. The P*triots are serial cheaters. They cannot do a single ******* thing without cheating. It's kinda sad. No, it's terribly sad. But there it is.

This game was still winnable..........im not overly upset considering we didn't have Bell or Bryant......almost 500 yds of total offense without those two although Williams played fantastic.

Defensively its a clusterfuck
