I'm pretty sure at this point Jarvis Jones is what he is.
If he starts for us, I'm pretty sure every off-season I will consider his position "upgrade needed" and address it in the draft until he's gone. I do not consider him deserving a 2nd contract at starter-level money.
It's still WAY too early on Dupree. I can be a bit more accepting on the LOLB spot not being a 12 sack guy if he does other things well (hell, we had Haggans at that spot for years). And so far in pre-season (and what I saw in his college tape), he actually does a lot of the little things for a 3-4 OLB well. He plays in space and his instincts standing up are actually better than I thought at this point. There's a lot of stuff he needs to work on once contact is made with NFL caliber OT's but that can be worked on with that talent/size/strength. As long as he stays healthy and nagging injuries don't derail his work ethic, I think he'll be a good player.
