Ok hold on now, Maybe we need to increase global warming! Winter Is Coming!

They are saying this will be the hottest year in 4000 years... you know, there is only a third left and somehow even if it did beat the records since 1880 they know temps for over 3,000 years before records were kept... LIARS

Where? In western PA we've only had three days of 90* or above this year and the day it was 91* that was the first time in two years we were above 90*.

Magic science land, where they bias adjust what they want and report it as fact. If you dispute it you are evil and should die a horrible death... its actually the only crime that should allow the death penalty.....

They do conveniently ignore that about four of the top ten hottest years in the last one hundred occurred in the 1930's.

Let me guess, this guy is a hero to you all:
The hottest year in western PA was 1989. I remember because I was still playing softball then and it was hot as hell even at night games. We had to carry our beers into the field to stay hydrated.

Are we dead yet?

If you can't step back for a moment, take in the big picture and try to comprehend that decades of accelerated industrial waste, pollution, chemicals, fracking, deforestation have had a significant impact on the earth and on its atmosphere, you are living in a dream world. You can argue the details and the exact ramifications, but to continue to live blindly and think none of this is affecting the planet and the weather - not to speak of the the quality of air and water - well, I really have nothing to say to you. You are living in a parallel universe, two steps removed from reality.

Sort of like, oh, I don't know, a State Science Institute?

****. It's raining at my house now. That's all. Kinda, warm,...little thunder, maybe some light show action. But,...not too bad. Yeah,...seems fine. Wait wait. Ok nope that was the wife. We're good.

you guys don't get it. global warming causes it to be hot AND cold. Heat wave? global warming. snow storm? global warming drought? global warming floods? global worming. your wife cheats on you? global warming. this **** aint going away. and its our fault.

Awww...were you one of the ones on that Florida beach holding hands and singing Kumbaya as millions of gallons of crude was gushing from the ocean floor in the Gulf...alas,it was the end of the world as we knew it, the environmental and economic devastation this would bring to the region forever, the cleanup would be an impossible undertaking. ..gee, what happened to all that oil? Turns out the earth healed itself, microbes ate that **** up.

Relax, If you can't step back for a moment, take in the big picture and try to comprehend that the "decades" of havoc on the environment you describe are mere nanoseconds in relationship to the age of the Earth which through its billion year existence has endured catastrophes much worse, well, I really have nothing to say to you.

Stupid, the creator of this nonsense forgot to put "man made" before "global warming". Everyone believes in global warming, the earth has warmed and cooled for billions of years. What we also believe is that mans miniscule contribution to increased Co2 levels amounts to a fart in a hurricane, therefore irrelevant.

Right, but mankind didn't survive those billions of years either or have large metropolitan areas next to the ocean. I'm not so sure minuscule contributions don't matter, or how minuscule those contributions are.

LOL, this article cracks me up, it's so representative of the fact that climate scientists don't really know what's going to happen, they don't really know exactly how anything will affect the climate, they don't really know what exactly caused things that have happened to the climate, yet "the science is settled" that manmade global warming is real and a crisis.

They have been fighting this scam since WW1 bus

Climate Crisis, Inc.

No warming in 18 years, no category 3-5 hurricane hitting the USA in ten years, seas rising at barely six inches a century: computer models and hysteria are consistently contradicted by Real World experiences.

So how do White House, EPA, UN, EU, Big Green, Big Wind, liberal media, and even Google, GE and Defense Department officials justify their fixation on climate change as the greatest crisis facing humanity? How do they excuse saying government must control our energy system, our economy and nearly every aspect of our lives – deciding which jobs will be protected and which ones destroyed, even who will live and who will die – in the name of saving the planet? What drives their intense ideology?

The answer is simple. The Climate Crisis & Renewable Energy Industry has become a $1.5-trillion-a-year business!

Consulting alone is a $27-billion-per-year industry that handles “reputation management” for companies and tries to link weather events, food shortages and other problems to climate change.

More bad news for climate alarmists: methane released by the thawing permafrost just isn’t looking like the deadly threat it was supposed to be.

New research led by Princeton University researchers and published in The ISME Journal in August suggests that, thanks to methane-hungry bacteria, the majority of Arctic soil might actually be able to absorb methane from the atmosphere rather than release it. Furthermore, that ability seems to become greater as temperatures rise.

The researchers found that Arctic soils containing low carbon content — which make up 87 percent of the soil in permafrost regions globally — not only remove methane from the atmosphere, but also become more efficient as temperatures increase.

Nothing to see here, move along...I know the routine, it's just another round of faulty data and baseless statistics thrown together by corrupt scientists wanting to make a quick buck. Keep on believin' :gangbang:

July was warmest month on Earth in 136 years, NOAA says

Another month, another record high for global temperatures, U.S. government scientists announced Thursday.

Earth’s average surface temperature for the month of July was 61.86 degrees Fahrenheit (or 16.61 degrees Celsius). That made July the hottest month since meteorologists began keeping track way back in 1880, according to a new report from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

July’s average temperature was 1.46 degrees F higher than the average for the 20th century and 0.14 degrees F above the previously hottest month, which occurred in 1998.

The new record was fueled by the oceans. Across the globe, the average sea surface temperature in July was 62.85 degrees F, 0.13 degrees higher than the previous monthly record (set in July 2014) and 1.35 degrees higher than the average for the 20th century. All 10 of the hottest months for sea surface temperatures have occurred since April 2014, the NOAA report noted.

Temperatures on land contributed too, coming in 1.73 degrees F above the 20th century average. That was high enough to rank as the sixth-hottest July on land since 1880, NOAA said.

Africa experienced its second-hottest July on record, with new records set in some eastern and central regions of the continent. Portions of northern South America, southern Europe, central Asia and the western U.S. also saw record high temperatures, according to the report.

The first seven months of the year ranked as the hottest January-to-July period since records began in 1880, edging out the previous record high set in 2010 by 0.16 degrees F. Average surface temperatures for both land and sea set new records as well, NOAA said.

Since the start of the year, “every major ocean basin observed record warmth in some areas,” the report said.

The report bolstered predictions from NOAA’s Climate Prediction Center that an El Niño is likely later this year. In July, surface temperatures in the central Pacific around the equator were about 1.8 degrees F higher than the recent 30-year average.

Last week, the Climate Prediction Center said the chances that the Northern Hemisphere will experience El Niño conditions this winter were greater than 90%. The odds that it will continue into the spring stand at about 85%, the CPC said in a report.

Ahh, citing NOAA...already busted for falsifying weather data, along with NASA. Who's the next reliable "scientific" source?

There are none. They are all lying, a part of a vast, left-wing conspiracy. The only two sources I trust are Breibart and the Bible.

Nobel Prize-Winning Scientist Says Obama Is ‘Dead Wrong’ On Global Warming

Dr. Ivar Giaever, a Nobel Prize-Winner for physics in 1973, declared his dissent on man-made global warming claims. Giaever delivered his remarks at the 65th Nobel Laureate Conference in Lindau, Germany, which drew 65 recipients of the prize.

Giaever was one of President Obama’s key scientific supporters in 2008 when he joined over 70 Nobel Science Laureates in endorsing Obama in an October 29, 2008 open letter. Giaever signed his name to the letter which read in part: “The country urgently needs a visionary leader…We are convinced that Senator Barack Obama is such a leader, and we urge you to join us in supporting him.”

But seven years after signing the letter, Giaever now mocks President Obama for warning that “no challenge poses a greater threat to future generations than climate change”. Giaever called it a “ridiculous statement.”

“That is what he said. That is a ridiculous statement,” Giaever explained.

“I say this to Obama: Excuse me, Mr. President, but you’re wrong. Dead wrong,” Giaever said.

“How can he say that? I think Obama is a clever person, but he gets bad advice. Global warming is all wet,” he added.

“When you have a theory and the theory does not agree with the experiment then you have to cut out the theory. You were wrong with the theory,” Giaever explained.

Global Warming ‘a new religion’

Giaever said his climate research was eye opening. “I was horrified by what I found” after researching the issue in 2012, he noted.

“Global warming really has become a new religion. Because you cannot discuss it. It’s not proper. It is like the Catholic Church.”

"No challenge poses a greater threat to future generations than climate change” is 100 percent accurate but not very relevant right now.

Eventually, the earths climate will become completely inhospitable to human survival, but not in our lifetime or many generations thereafter.

So you can't legitimately answer?
Nope Rod, you guys are in the know. There aren't thousands of scientists and scientific papers and studies out there that prove the legitimacy of climate change. Again, it's a big liberal myth and conspiracy, and you, the truly heroic few - our brave, conservative, tea-party heroes - are on top of it. You've got it all figured out. The entire scientific community and agencies like NASA and the NOAA are all leading us blind sheep by our noses. We're all just gullible, idiotic, dumbass libtards that are stupid enough to think climate change is a real concern and maybe, just maybe, we should do something about it.
