My hope for Brown, Bryant and Coats is they watched Wallace do zero and playing the first preseason game, what happens to one who thinks they are better than the system that makes them look good. Wallace went for the money in Miami and we all saw how that worked out.

In all fairness, Wallace actually ended getting a huge payday. So I would say the he is winning at life.

I doubt that he cares about a system or what any of us thinks of him- especially when he looks at his bank statements.

I saw one of his look out blocks during the game. It looked like a defensive tackle was given an ole by an offensive lineman and archer correctly decided no way, I am not gona end up on IR to protect laundry ******* throw it in the dirt worm killer Jones.

Which is a huge problem having him in the game. He isn't going to pick up the blitz from the backfield and he isn't a slot WR. He's a gimmick player on a team that doesn't need to fool anyone on offense. There is too much fire power on this offense to waste a few plays a game for such a limited player. He doesn't return punts ( or he shouldn't), his KR are below average, and he can only be used sparing (according to Tomlin) because of his size in a normal offense. Every time he steps on the field the defense knows what's coming. I don't get the logic in it.

Most people, given the potential to have a life changing economic event for their family's future would make the same decision that Wallace did.

It appears that he got paid based on his production after his most productive period. That is a great strategy.

Steeler fans may be pleased the team didn't bite on him, but it is very difficult that he didn't do what is best for a free agent in his position.

What if he took the money that AB got? Steeler fans might be disappointed in his production, and the thought of having to market now for AB.

We got lucky.
