He was targeted 10 times. Three that I remember were basically in the dirt or behind him. You can't fault him for Laundry's inaccuracy; and to be fair, on two of Laundry's bad passes to Archer, he was under heavy pressure. I'm not saying that Archer will be a great player; hell, I'm not even sure he will be a "good" player. However, he looks better than last year. More decisive with his runs, added some muscle, seems more confident on the offensive side of the ball and as a kick off returner. That said, he still has a tendency to shy from contact. Still falls down w/out being touched (although a lot of our guys were slipping - equipment manager problem?). And, I would not trust him on punt returns in any way shape or form.
Oh, and as a blocker against a pass rush? As Burgundy would say "fuggidaboutit"
Hopefully, he takes last night's steps in the right direction and builds on them.
