I think the Offensive line is going to be THE issue for this offense. The running game will be almost non-existent and a one dimensional offense isn't really an effective one.

Somehow I have the feeling that this game will not be the walkover many are expecting. I hope it is a walkover but I am going to temper my expectations this week, until we see how effective the new offense and defense are.

It’s always very hard to decipher a team before the first game has ended.

So much “hope” involved that the true ability becomes clouded.

Our want for domination becomes part reality in our minds.

If the team can not live up to our perceived ability, we condemn unfairly.

Obviously I HOPE for a great game, patiently I await how it plays out, then I look for there positives.

I have higher expectations due to a whole new everything from coaching to scheme to CB hold out.

Very curious to see how our run D holds up today against one of the top 5 RB's in the league. Also curious to see what this O can do, but that could take a few weeks since most of them didn't play in the preseason and definitely didn't play together for timing, etc. Should be fun.

I have no idea what to expect today. Ever single OLine position has a new player besides our Center. Everyone else is switching sides. Obviously we have to stop Robinson today. I’d love to see a smoke show.

Lunar diff 4, impressive but not as impressive at the 3-nights / 4 day all expense paid (Max. Amount $8.00) stay at 47 stone neighbor of 42 stone trailer court girl.

I was rooting for Speedicut (diff 13) until I realized he was tied with me until I smoked him on the 3rd tie-break.

Badcat & Steelmann had great 3rd tie-break responses so here is the actual scoop

3rd Tie-Break This all happened many a many moons ago, I was at a Rodeo about 25 miles next very small town over. I came across these three (good looking) chicks. Two of them I knew real well and the third was this very drunk short girl. The two had to keep her on her feet. talked and went on our ways.
..... About two hours later I heard a loud NO coming from between two buildings and I l;ooked to see what was up. The drunk girl was by herself but being harassed by 3-guys. Her shirt was torn and a boob was out and I headed straight to her taking my shirt off and putting it over her. The one guy got pretty un-ruley and I said real loud "no, I will not fight you but I will cover this girl up and get to a safe place. Other people heard and he saw a small crowd and they took off.
...... I picked the drunk girl up as she couldn't even walk (I don't think she weighed 90lbs.). I looked around and 1 of the two original ladies came and said they'd been looking for her. She saw the shape and I told her what had happened. I said I was headed home and (drunk) she could sleep it off on ride home and my place. OK was her (sober girl) response but I said you have to call me right away in morning (this was before cell phones).
..... I was a gentleman and Had breakfast for the shorty once she woke up. I asked her if she remembered much and she just responded I'd saved her. I took her to her friends house and I thought that was the end of that.
..... about 2-weeks later she called and we went out / dated for about 3 months. All was good but she had to go back to college. During our promiscuous time I actually showed her My cloth measuring tape (that stiffness was a trait they put in the tape to help take out tape sag for more accurate tailor measurements).

31 5/8" - 20 1/2" - 34 1/2" (B-cup for you curious bastages) I wrote these down and had her sign it for shitzz and giggles (little did we know.......)

She still lives fairly close, we are friends and this story got me to thinking and I called her (hadn't talked to her in about 2yrs). She is doing A-ok now, but had gone through some medical stuff. I told her she should have called as I would have helped or even just to visit. She is doing ok now.
...... I asked her if she remembered us taking her measurements and how good a time we had in that stretch of life? She said she remembered it like yesterday. I told her thank you for our friendship and to keep me posted on her recovery. So all GOOD.


UP-date: Trailer court guy that I called the sheriff on for open flame. I in the middle of an Extreme RED FLAG Fire alert area, NO flames of any kind (gas BBqs allowed, must be attended).
....... I came out of my house and looked across his way (about 3-4ooft) and saw fire on the ground. I jumped on my Old tractor hooked up to my water wagon and headed his way. I called sheriff and got them coming. I doused the 25ft x 50ft burning on my property with open flow spray out back of tank (2 passes). I then parked and 1-pull started the pump for my fire hose. I proceeded to extinguish his side of the fire trail back to his wood BBQ. I blasted his BBQ right off his deck and as he was coming out his trailer-house door I blasted him & his door back shut. I sprayed under his deck and everything extinguished just as the sheriff showed up.
.... Lot of Sheriff talk between Sheriff / fire guy / and myself. Nothing happened to me at all, sheriff wanted to know if I wanted any $$$ for damages and I said no.
Next day the guy came over to apologize and wanted to be good neighbor. He went home and I searched online and found a closeout special BBQ propane grill for
$67.00 (i think), bought it and returned to his house and gave it to him.
........I think I will have ZERO problems going forward.

Yes SIR, I was reminiscing through an old photo album and came across her signed statement as I’d tucked it in.

That’s what gave me the topic to use for 3rd tie-break.

When I was talking with her she did say we were pretty careful-free back in the day……… fun times.
