My apologies for the accusation. I was wrong. The coincidence seemed to hard too believe.

The timestamp on a Tweet is your timezone, not his. He posted at 5:42PM wherever he was. It shows as 11:42AM for me the viewer. Approx 3 hours before the assassination.

Doesn't really matter where he was when he posted. I guess I didn't word it correctly. Anytime you view a tweet, the timestamp you see on it is the time it was posted with the time reflected to the timezone you are in. So when he tweeted that at 5:42PM (from where ever he was), it was 11:42AM for me in EST. And that is what I see when I view the actual tweet - 11:42AM. Likewise, the timestamp will show as 9:42AM for anyone in MST viewing it. That's when it was put on the net. Charlie was shot about 2.5 hours later.

He couldn't have posted it from the USA and have a timestamp of 5:42PM because it showed as 11:42AM for me (that is definitive).
  • If he had been in the USA and was in EST, it would have shown as 5:42PM for me too.
  • If he had been in CST posting at 5:42PM, it would have shown on my feed at 6:42PM
  • and if he posted it 5:42PM MST, it would have shown as 7:42PM EST for me.
Make sense?

The moral of the story is that nothing has changed. He’s still a commie fucknut.
 
You will never get a liberal to agree with anything a conservative proposes, whether they be a member of the general public or a politician holding an office somewhere. Arguing with them is pointless. The only way to beat them is to out vote them on election day. If you choose to stay away from the polls, you might as well be voting for them.

In my opinion Tibs isn't a bad dude. He just believes different than I do. I could easily see myself have a decent conversation with him over a beer or coffee.
The other one? No way. The trog guy i am convinced is just a dude killing time and looking for attention
