Kaleb Johnson Traded to the Packers

I still think you are underselling him, He is likely the starter this year at the nose based on preseason and the depth chart.
To each their own. I just haven't seen it from him yet.

(For me) I would put Frazier and Porter as great. I would take off any pro bowl designations as I think that in itself is a poorly run voting process.

Just what I see off the top without touching on every listed player.
While I would personally put them in that category, for the top of the list I wanted something quantitative. With the Pro Bowl being eliminated, I also hope to see that honor becoming a bit more legit.

I'd say this is pretty good. Only 2 picks didn't work, Broderick and Kaleb, and they're still regarded enough that other teams traded for them.

Kaleb never got a chance here. Tomlin put him in the doghouse and this year they changed the scheme. Broderick was a raw player who needed development and the steelers switched him back and forth between RT and LT, then he suffered a major injury. These guys didn't work here, but still early to call them busts.

Someone please explain how Omar Khan still has a job?

3 out of the last 4 first rd picks on OLine (plus a 2nd rounder), and the line is still in shambles.
Wasted high picks on scrubs like Kaleb, Roman Wilson, etc.
Getting scraps for Pickens

Get this idiot GM the F out of here
I remember saying Khan was trash two years ago and the usual suspects told me I was an idiot.

I do wonder if control freak Tomlin put him in the back seat.

Don’t tell terrapin or KY this.

Omar is doing a great job. Everybody is wrong on picks. The key is identifying it early and trading them away ASAP rather than being stubborn and trying to make them work.

Kaleb Johnson needs to be in a zone scheme. He just didn't fit what McCarthy wants. He can still be a decent player for GB. They obviously think so because with Jacobs likely suspended, they need a guy who can play now, not sit and develop.

132 million to Metcalf. for 850 yards
100 million dollars for Herbig an undersized Backup LB
Great job?? LOL

If it was only bad draft picks that would be one thing.

How many players do bad their rookie season? He had 28 carries.....I am not saying he will be anything. Simply wasn't given a chance between the 2 Hc's. Tomlin got a stick up his A SS on Johnson and Coach M simply figured it wasn't his pick and moved on.
He should atleast have a better shot in GB without Arthur Smith. Maybe their scheme works better for the slow suck in mud looking RB?
As bad as he looked he didn't get a fair shot last year.

Logan Lee is still on IR, right?

Because he is behind Troy and highsmith. He is developing into a pretty solid player

Jack can play LT too…………..???

Lunar and Supe have multiple talents as well, but they ain’t no Coolie………..

KJ had the issue that he wasnt an exceptionally outstanding runningback and didnt contribute to ST... you cant be RB3 as an average runner with no other skills to add

YeuP, no break-away speed and ran to up-right for power.

He had these traits before the dog-house incident as well.

Herbig has one of the highest pass rush grades in the NFL.

Metcalf is a tomporary fix to an abysmal WR situation. They needed a WR1. Metcalf only had $60 million guaranteed, plus they redid his contract to make it cap friendly. Most of that 130 is in the last few years and not guaranteed, but if that makes you happy to complain about it, go ahead.

Omar and Weidl have rebuilt the OL. Pittman is a solid WR2 and Bernard looks like he'll also be a good slot or WR2. They need another WR in next year's draft and may still need that franchise QB. The offense is on the right track.

They are building up the DL depth. The secondary is better than it's been in years. Asante Samuel, Lamel Dean, and Brisker were great pickups.

I guess I don't know what people expect in just 3 offseasons. The team is headed in the right direction.

Stats vs production they are both grossly overpaid. Stats are the only thing that isn't an opinion, and they don't warrant nearly that $$
Offensively Kahn let the best offensive player leave 2 years in a row. Pickens to Pittman huge downgrade, Gainwell the 2025 Steelers MVP
Has another team ever done that 2 years straight?
Omar has done well in the trenches compared to the skill guys.
Max and the O-line look like a work in progress, hopefully they don't get Rodgers killed.
The best thing kahn has done this offseason is not overpaying Porter.

For the first time since 1999 the Steelers have 10 rookies make the roster...now who were the GMs then? I remember Donahoe and of course Colbert. He hasn't done that bad for only being here..what 4 or 5 years?

35 of 38 drafted rookies have made the 53 since he got here. Pickens would have been the jewel in his crown if he hadn't flipped out. And he also got JPJ. Give him time, he'll start hitting on superstars... he might have this year.

We will see if gainwell gets probowl honors this season, else is a moot point to let him go.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't it Pickens to DK? Still a downgrade, but stats were comparable to what Pickens was putting up for the Steelers.
CAIII to Pittman was a huge upgrade.

Shouldn't you compare the stats from 2025 of both?
