Iran

Sure its good news, but it doesn't change the fact that we wasted billions of dollars, people's lives, and other resources for something that could have been prevented or ended much earlier. If we would have On a side note Iran has to be one of the dumbest countries ever. They could have been living in luxury with our generous deal we offered.
Eliminating the Jooz and any other non-Muslims is a higher priority.
Mohammed said so.

Just as the IRGC doesn't negotiate, those entering other countries aren't doing so to assimilate.
And the libs continue to fiddle as Rome burns.
I've been saying it for a long time.
On any issue, Liberals will always reflexively side with 1) whoever is against America, 2) whoever is against Christians and Jooz, and 3) whoever the darker-skinned people are.

Speaking for myself, I’m not a big fan of the Jooz either.

While the party affiliation of the American Jew has never been tied to Isreal and the majority of them registered Democrats, I wonder if the new antisemitic policy of the progressive party will change their views.

You mean it's mine free for like the 10th time? Go read a few pages back where Trump claimed this like a week ago. He also has not said a word about the Oman / Iran agreement after claiming we would "bomb the ****" out of Oman if they interfered.

it's so great that you can correct the US government on an ongoing foreign military action.

Huh? I'm not correcting anything I'm going by what Trump himself has said. Was Trump wrong when he stated it the first time? Is he wrong this time? Did Trump not state he would bomb the **** out of Oman along with threatening any country who does business with Iran? What am I correcting? Pointing out Trumps constant contradictions is not correcting.

i guess its not possible that more could have been placed after that statement was made?
nah.

Excellent summary Spoonfed.

You are either totally ignorant or a full troll. For your case I hope its a troll. I am using trumps own words, not the "fake news." There is also no way more mines could have been placed since we have controled the straight, annihilated iran, ended the war 10x etc etc....

Yeah, it sounded too good to be true…,

So is it true or not true?
Confluence what say you?
I'd say that the Dept of Energy, and oil spot prices, and the Administration say more and more oil is leaving the strait via pipelines and VLCCs.

Alternate routes, like the pipeline planned for Gaza, will happen as we go forward. This means that better paths via shipping are either happening, or going to happen. it doesn't take much of an imagination to conceive of a canal/rock cut thru Oman's coast.

The flow of oil is changing globally and CNN won't be the first to catch the news.

I wouldn't bet $50 on Jizzer's accuracy.

Appreciate the follow up..

It’s doable for sure and I hope it’s happening as reported.

There is an alternate route that is being used, but it has always been there. We did not dredge it out and it was not some genius move by the administration. Just do your own research

No, the United States did not dredge an alternate Strait of Hormuz; that claim stems from viral social media rumors and internet speculation. [1, 2]
    • The Rumor: Online speculation and viral posts claimed that U.S. forces secretly dredged a new, deep-water shipping corridor near Oman’s Musandam Peninsula to bypass Iranian-controlled waters. [1]
    • The Reality: Maritime and hydrographic experts noted that the natural passage in question already possesses substantial depth without needing extensive excavation. [1]
    • The Official Operation: U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) and naval updates confirm that military divers, aircraft, and underwater systems were deployed to clear Iranian sea mines from the existing, internationally recognized shipping lanes rather than carve a new channel. [1, 2]
