While I doubt it will be fully implemented in my lifetime, the left accomplishes these things through incrementalism. Elect a couple socialists here and there, implement a few socialist policies here and there. Meanwhile, you keep indoctrinating young people through high school, college and media manipulation. Couple that with the general apathy toward these things that this nation shows, and it really shouldn’t take too long.

The 2nd amendment is a great example of incrementalism. Take away this weapon, restrict this usage, ban this magazine. Little by little. Soon, the 2nd amendment won’t be the 2nd amendment.

I mean we have communists in our government. Never thought I’d see that.

Exactly. And more & more foreign born politicians being voted into power by all the foreign born immigrants. Slowly but surely.

Apparently no one is paying attention to what is happening in England, France and Germany. Either that, or they’re still under the illusion that it can’t happen here.
 
This is the same argument with men in women’s sports.

It doesn’t happen very often, so it’s not a problem, and we should wait until it is too late and can’t do anything about it to acknowledge that it’s a problem.
