I never fully understood why the Steelers play so poorly on the road vs. West Coast teams.

Do other winning teams based in the east have a similar problem?

This year we travel west twice. San Diego and Seattle. Both look to be good teams in 2015.

Simple. Tomlin.

Travel early. Get acclimated to the time change and, often, heat. It costs more, but beats a listless loss to the Raiders.

This shouldn't be a big deal at all for east coaster going west to play a 4pm game EST. There is nothing to change to. There may be more of a switch coming east and having to play 10am PST games, but west coast teams usually get scheduled for a 4pm time anyway. We play 1 and 4pm games at home, should be zero difference on the road. There are no times that would hurt the East coast teams. Night games would still start at 8-9pm EST. Now goinging to London is the clusterfuck. 5-9hr differences? **** that...

I believe the travel time takes away some preparation time the way they are doing it. It seems that would be the only likely reason for the team to look like it does when it gets there. I suspect other than cheating by the cheatriots** it is the reason most teams do better at home. But it also seems to me that the steelers have been having more problems with this than they should. or that they used to.

Coach doesn't sleep well on plane rides.

We play against gates and jimmy graham in both that's what's really going to suk. I hope sharknado grew six inches this off season.

My better leave for the west coast games early this year not like London oakland in the past leaving 2-3 days before leave 4-5 days before so the whole team is adjusted to the time change long enough that when its kick off time both teams are almost on par.

not football-related. Go start a thread in the breakfast forum . . .:Wiggum:

Don't youi eat breakfast on football game day???? I do and it varies upon who we are playing that day.. remember there was a thread about certain recipee per opponent..... can't remember who that was..... Was good though. For some reason I think it was TMC

Simple! Play better! Coach better! Traveling east to west as someone mentioned previously should not be a factor but appears to have become an excuse as of late.

Couldn't have said whatever you said any better than you said it.
