Iran

If the 14 point mou is right then Trump is lying. Trump is correct that we can't stop other countries from funding Iran, but the funding (300 billion) is part of the mou which the USA has to sign off on. Vance basically confirmed the 300 billion is part of the agreement so I highly doubt it is "false." It is contingent on Iran's behavior, but this whole thing was a nightmare for Trump so I think he would be more reluctant to start dropping bombs again.

this this may or may not age well.

John Carl is saying na na na na naa na, My friend Obama was better. OK John. We know you like gays.

If he kept the squeeze on the Republicans would lose seats. Every enemy of the U.S. knows that to win just drag it out.

Iran just made Trump their little b*tch. Was not expecting that from the MAGA King, yet here we are. I guess at this point, nothing should come as a surprise.
The MAGA cult and right wing media have started to refer to it as “Vice President Vance’s Deal with Iran”.

Well because it’s true.

Yes, Vice President JD Vance played a central role in the deal, serving as the lead negotiator and digital signer of the preliminary memorandum of understanding alongside President Donald Trump.

I thought Vance was kind of left out of the loop and kushner and witkoff were the guys negotiating. Regardless Trump had to sign off on whatever. There is no way anyone would sign or agree to a deal without Trumps approval. This deal is worse than the one Obama had. The only issue is the Obama one was not reinforced. Trump could have chosen to enforce the Obama plan by giving Iran an inspection / compliance ultimatum. Even before this war Trump could have given Iran an ultimatum about the nukes. My main issue is if this MOU is all that Trump wanted it could have been negotiated without spending such vast lives / resources / money. Also Israel is not being compliant already. Are we going to cut funding / aid to Israel if they don't stop bombing Lebanon?

Speaking of JD Vance…
In my preliminary analysis of him, his work and his ability to communicate…
And especially since he will be the next POTUS…
I believe he will be an outstanding president to follow Donald Trumps legacy with his ability to level set and navigate critical and controversial items that this country faces going forward…

Digital signer? AUTOPEN!!! AUTOPEN!!!

That’s like saying I have to wish for the Browns to fail. Trumps pretty good at failing.

No. You wish that Trump fails at every turn just so you can say “I told you so”. You know it’s true.

Did you ever once hope that Trumps pulls this off with great success?

No you did not.

Hey spoonfed Jizzer.

What an astute analysis you have made. Did you get that from huffpost, CNN or WAPO?

It's nice on this one day in June, round about a year after first military actions in Iran, that you are able to be certain what is happening and what comes next.

The aim:
Preventing Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon was the central justification for the U.S.-Israeli military campaign launched against Iran in early 2026. While this objective led to significant escalation, a newly finalized diplomatic agreement has fundamentally shifted the conflict's resolution.

The result:
  • The 14-Point Deal: Signed by President Trump and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, the framework allows for immediate de-escalation. [1, 2]
  • Nuclear Commitments: Iran has agreed to never procure a nuclear weapon. Its existing uranium stockpile will be downblended or diluted under the supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). [1, 2]
  • 60-Day Negotiation Window: While the immediate conflict has paused, the permanent status of Iran's civilian nuclear program remains unresolved. The two sides have entered a 60-day window to hammer out a final treaty. [1, 2]
  • Economic Relief: In exchange for nuclear compliance, the U.S. will lift key sanctions and the vital Strait of Hormuz will reopen to global shipping. [1, 2]
So what’s everyone b*tching about?

@ Anti Israel Tibby and Trog:

Israel is not very happy with the deal.

That must mean Trump said “eff Israel”.

So from the perspective of a TDS sufferer, would you not consider this being at least one positive to come out of the deal?
