Pens 25-26 thread

This is bullshit.... Whenever Vladar is under pressure the net goes off it's moorings, he loses equipment, needs his sports psychologist, etc
 
Skinner is the only reason we have any chance at all in this series.

Unreal how we just let the other team hangout at the edge of the crease and think nothing of it. Barasso would have chopped their legs out from underneath the if the D did put them on their wallet first

The last time I remember us playing anything like a physical game was years ago. That has to change.
 
That's it. Was fun while it lasted. At least they made the playoffs. Something to be said for that.
 
Three games of **** with a handful of good shifts.

This was really their best chance to get back into it. There's no chance in hell they win the next 4 games in a row.

This was really disappointing.

I thought the Pens had this one at the start of the game and were going to flip the script. What a pisser.

Sid’s embellishment call seemingly took momentum away.


Once the game got ugly and players from both teams were getting sent into the box, the Pens never generated anything after.


Doesn’t help that Girard and Letang have been complete ****.

Mantha also has been a fork in the road in the playoffs.


They should’ve sat him and kept Soderblom in

Seems like everyone went into hiding after they clinched the playoffs. They simply don't have that playoff gear. Gotta give credit to the Flyers, they're young and hungry. They'll probably lose in 4 in round 2 but sure have ouf number.
 
I'll watch the last game, as I am feeling pretty certain that it's the last one with the big three together. It will feel like watching the the funeral of Chuck Norris, but I'll watch it.

Philly plays a boring yet effective defensive hockey system which nullifies what the Pens were doing all season.

When Philly started coming on at the end of the season I watched some parts of their games. When it became apparent they were going to make the playoffs and then play the Pens I had a bad feeling about it. Philly, younger, hungry, Toc knowing them. Just what I watched of a couple games I thought they would be tough.

This is the same crap that happened in 19 when they got swept by the Isle's.

But from what the Pens did all season I never for a second thought they might get swept this time around.

As much as the Big 3 have gave us a lot of good memories there are just as many bad memories when you really think about it.

Three Stanley Cups with the Big 3. And a back to back. That two year run was just magic. I'll carry that with me no matter how the ending goes.


The flyers would give their left nut for that. **** them.


With that being said,I'm still disappointed as all hell. It's not losing,it's the manner in which you lose.

There's no shame in a hard fought battle and losing in say game 7,but to not really be competitive and swept away like nothing is rough.

They have one game left to atleast get a win and not go out like this. It's not like they don't have the talent to do it,but have they mentally checked out.
