Schefter reports that Jones suffered setback regarding neck injury

Feel very sorry for Broderick Jones. Neck Fusion will most likely end his football career.

Steeler need to address this loss now.

anyone else seeing blank replies from that retard @bermudasteel ?

I just thought he was “splaining sumthiN” and it morphed into his football knowledge outside of B’ma……….

I hear yaz Steelmann, my point was is harder than one thinks to move from position to position.

Maybe Fautanu would be an exception, and if they do move him I HOPE like hellA it works for the positive.

The draft will be interesting to see what direction the team goes.

I don' think that is as true as it used to be. Guys are moving all around on many teams. The league values versatility with all the injuries.

It's too bad. I did like him coming out in the draft. He was so young and had so many skills to improve into a really, really good player.

I thought a good rookie contract (2-3 years as a starter) were going to shape into something really worth keeping around and anchoring a decent offensive line. But injuries happen in this game. And some just don't have that special "it factor" to put all of your god-given gifts together into being a "professional" athlete (and there is a lot of stuff that goes into that definition/adjective that we don't see as fans).

I wish the kid luck and good fortune. The older I get, the more I realize just how young and wet behind the ears these guys really are (and how hard it is to forecast greatness).

Package a 7th, 4th & 3rd to move into the high-mid 2nd & grab Bisontis.

OL is set for years. Just play them in the best on-field configuration for the talent available.

Then with #53 add a WR or QB. Then in the 3rd add a DT, QB, WR or Safety depending on what you had a 53.

For mine, there has to be a QB. I could find an argument for Beck, Allar or Nussmeier.

But first- put all our QB's in a position of strength- OL of high quality. Add a 3rd WR. Grab another WR in 4, 5 or 6th round.

I would be all for this a solid idea.
