Per Rapoport and Tom Pelissero, The Steelers have not received word from Rodgers on his future and there is no expectations on a final decision before the draft.

Dulac talked with Rooney a few weeks ago, and he said Rodgers told him he wouldn't take as long as last year, and Rooney said he expects to know before the draft.

Why are they still dealing with this tool?

close the door. roll with Howard. draft a QB late. move. the. pfuck. on.

Ok with moving on. It has been an annoying process . Only fail of the offseason but it is a significant one.

To be clear I mean it is a fail due to not looking for a QB when free agency hit.

It’s the indecisiveness of the front office that scares me.
Oh I think they are decisive . They just decided to wait out a QB that they shouldn’t have well waited for.

I am sure with Mike’s QB history he can’t like what he is seeing .

I think they already know he's coming back and this continues to drag out in the media and with us the loyal fans until the end of May early June.
Plays out nicely for Rogers who misses mini camp and OTAs. He knows exactly what he’s doing!
The kid Howard picks up valuable practice reps while Aaron plays on the SoCal beaches with his make believe wife.
He’ll be back for one last season and it will look a whole lot like last season.

You think they already know huh? I dunno hard for me to tell….

I disagree strongly......I think that Ayahuasca A-Ron is not in SoCal.

He is in Peru, halfway up the Andes. Hopefully he is channeling the future aliens to fix Broderick's neck, or to find him better OL protection.

I think Howard could be a total disaster. He was throwing to wide open guys who were clearly better than the guys they were playing against.

Jeremiah Smith
Emeka Egbuka
Carnell Tate

I'd take that as one of the better receiver rooms in the NFL.

I don’t think he matches last year’s stats. If he does, it will be because the system in much more confident than the previous coach’s system.

Him and Stryker are bunking in the same storm drain on Carson Street.

I think they are fine with whatever happens. Many see it as embarrassing or desperate or whatever, but I really think they are fine with either outcome, and it will not impact their draft plans.

They weren't running wide open all the time, he dropped some serious dimes along the way. Not sold on him at the NFL level but not because he had great WRs.

That's fine if it comes to Howard starting. Then we'll know and be in position to draft a QB high next year.

They know what he is doing. And he's playing. He just doesnt want football to be a 12 month job anymore. And If Im wrong snd they are forced to play Howard. Might be for the best.
Yeah, but Rodgers still wants to be paid $30 million like it's a full-time job. So tired of the nonsense with this guy.

They already know whether Rodgers is going to be back or not ( and he will)

If you havent all figured it out, Rodgers likes to dabble in all sorts of mind altering substances in the offseason.

The NFL drug testing process not only looks at illegal and performance enhancing drugs, but hundred of other substances that can mask or give false positives as well.

Players under contract can be tested up to six times in the offseason iirc.. players who are free agents arent tested till the first week after they sign...

So a lot of the guys who look like they should be on a roster but are not signing till camp are doing so to avoid this process for a while... its a known thing.. many clubs just dont care.

I think the problem is that the rest of the roster is good enough that even a truly bad season from the QB wouldn't be enough to get past true cellar dwellers like the Dolphins. We might end up with the #9 overall pick and still be out of the QB stakes.
