Look, it's time to admit something

Although not a big McCarthy supporter, I am excited to see what he can bring to a mostly dormant, predictable, and lackadaisical organization.
Just felt like simply going through the motions every single season with Tomlin.
Will be interesting to see how different the draft is conducted with Tomlin FINALLY out of the building.
I feel like we could see some draft day trades coming. Just a feeling but names like Highsmith, Queen, and Ramsey could be some of the guys they are considering moving on from. Not all of them but at least one of them. I think Omar wants to do some deals and without Tomlin breathing down his neck, look for it to happen.
Please, just don’t do something stupid like trade Nick Herbig. He’s young and needs to play now and is the future, not guys like Watt and Highsmith.

Im excited for the change in philosophy and everything you listed for sure, I guess my thing is Tomlin's big down fall was post season, McCarthy's big down fall has been playoffs.
McCarthy could lose his next four playoff games, and still have a better postseason winning percentage than Tomlin.

I also look at it in a different light than initially.

I started thinking about how this is his dream job.

I saw him bring an extensive experienced group of defensive coaches in.

Then knowing he is offense competent. We haven’t had that in a while.

Knowing Graham likes to disguise his D, will be light years refreshing compared to an approach that was easy to figure out.

Then I saw the free agency approach where they didn’t bring in a mediocre corner. Where they finally got their number 2 WR. Where they brought in a solid chain moving RB.

Then they brought in a solid run defender to stabilize that sometimes leaky run D.

Then they further solidified the secondary to make it a possible three safety look. Further adds to what Graham likes to do mix it up.

Mike helped himself pretty decently already. Sometimes when you have the experience and have time to reflect you can put out a better model.
Add to it a high want too… very attractive.

There is a possibility of a special season we just have to see it unfold.
Wow. My, how your opinion has changed. And after all of the useless vitriol you threw my way when I defended the McCarthy hiring at the time. Yes, it's safe to say that you're looking at it in a different light...the understatement of the year.

You can feel free to apologize now.

I don’t need to apologize for an opinion change that is why they call it an opinion.

You seem to be holding onto past feelings , try to work through them . Everything is going to be alright.

He wasn't a first.

But still a miss nonetheless the less………………….

Both in player and in Coach that instigated the whole debical.

you really missed the joke

I’ll admit something because the title of this thread says we must………………

I’m in the middle of a FULL “RED” FLAG fire warning area. Haven’t had much moisture since early last fall.

(here’s my time to admit thing)

I purchased two (bold & different color each) G-strings with the intent of wearing them when I do my

“It’s raining” dance on my back patio…….. sorry I have to wait till it rains to wear them……………

Wow. Nfl drafts are just as bad as weathermen.

Which is why it always cracks me up when people call an entire class weak or positional group weak before any of the guys have played a down.

It’s not like the scouts and FO “experts”
Have the evaluations down to a science, and the talking heads that spew on these topics frequently know even less.

So much is a matter of right player, right place and right time….all of these factor into the success/failure rate to a great degree.

But year after year guys are always judged way too early…it’s the only draft constant.
