One more 7-rounder to mock

There is no way on God's green earth that Proctor is lasting until pick #53. Zero chance.

Right, I don't suggest that he will. My point is that a future guard - which is very likely where Proctor ends up - is not worth the #21 pick.

Apparently, the Raiders are listening to offers for the 1st pick! Why? Perhaps their stupidity continues!
lol - wonder if the Clowns would trade Messiah Sanders for 1st pick then take Simpson.

its a Clowns move.

The owner can't even choose a good barber.

This draft seems weird to me, or maybe I'm just not paying as much attention to it anymore.
In years past there was always that guy that I hoped fell into the Steelers lap.
This year, it seems all over the place.

I'll let you more knowledgeable prognosticators get back to it.

*sigh*
I continue with my obsession over mock drafts with another fake draft that is less real than my fantasy baseball team.

My favorite players who I think might be available at 21 - Fano and Thieneman - both gone so trade down and add 2027 draft capital. Get a physically blessed OT, history of being a violent run blocker in college and somebody the Steelers have talked to. The G means the OL is pretty deep at this point if Jones is healthy, but with enough high-level guys to handle the work if he is limited. Very good S in the 2nd, Supe's favorite TE in the 3rd, two CB's who can stand up to the big receivers in the NFL, and a
slot receiver with good hands who can play some Y if needed.

The extra 2nd round pick and two 3rd round picks are the bonus here. Team will have a lot of draft capital in the 2027 draft with 6 of the first 96 picks.

I agree that you can find very good interior lineman outside of the first round. Some people on this board are vehemently suggesting taking a guard at #21, which is unnecessary to me.

I wouldn't say that it is very likely that Proctor ends up at guard. He will get a legitimate shot at tackle first, and if he cleans up a few things, that's where he's going to stay.
