Yes, okay, I did not get any players but boo-ya, three 1st round, four 2nd round, and two 3rd round picks in 2027!!

P.S. I hope the 2027 draft is really good ...

When you have a glut of draft picks, the sage plans are to either package picks to move up in positions of need or trade for future picks where often you can get a pick around 1 round higher in exchange for a current one..

If you are hell bent on bringing in a ton of players, double up on positions that are deep

Nearly every draft has one or two positions saturated with talent and others where the top pick at a position wouldn't be a second or sometimes even a third in other drafts... if they drafted a couple wrs and ignored QB this draft, it would be ok...

I completely agree and would do the same. Mock drafts aren't even that fun with this many picks because sometimes it's hard to find players.

Yep. Every single mock draft I try and deal the multitude of 7th round picks for a 5th round pick in 2027.

I love the idea of adding future picks. I also could see them maneuvering a lot on day 2 of the draft.

We have 12 draft picks. That covers one pick for almost every position on the field.

And then they cut 4 or 5 picks?

Id rather they traded at least 3 to upgrade.....9 is plenty

There was some nuance to my original reply. I don’t think the Steelers will or should use all the picks.
