Liberalism is a mental illness thread

This is way past liberalism. I don't want to think about what the world is going to be like in 20-30 years.

What is a woman? They can't answer. This is the demoncrat party and the people they vote into office. A bunch of loons.

Do better Pennsylvania!

Are you suggesting that Tibtard above posted fake pics? Or are you are saying that the coffee maiden got duped, again, by fraudulent lefty media?

Not sure why I bother responding to your juvenile drivel. That's all you're good for around here, like shooting spit wads from the back row in elementary school. Keep on being you, Confluence. At least you put in the effort to be a troll, you should be commended for that.

In large cities and small towns across the country, millions took to the streets today in protest against the policies of President Trump and his administration.

I'll put this here.

That ain't millions.

Why do you look at selected pics with a few hundred people, and one with a few thousand and then believe the story that says "millions", contrasting with the eye-witness accounts of others in this very thread?

Since this seems beyond your ken, the answer is simple: you want to.

Your self-proclaimed TDS is still overriding your ability to digest propaganda from your spoonfeeders.

Maybe you should lay off the vegan goulash for a bit?

You simply can't let it go. Stubborn as a mule.

Millions turn out for "No Kings" rallies held worldwide to protest against Trump

Yes, and the biggest was in NYC, where yer news says 350,000 attended, and the cops say 100,000.

Atlanta organizers: 35,000
Atlanta cops: 6,000

So maybe it wasn't quite 7 million.

More likely, around a million. Yawn.

The fentanyl fatality of George Floyd drew many times more protesters. For a drug addicted criminal.

Full list of what was accomplished by No Kings protestors.

I can't argue with this. These rallies rarely accomplish anything, besides providing folks an opportunity to vent a little, and exercise their Constitutional right to assembly and free speech. Not sure why it's such a big topic on this board. Yeah, Trump isn't a popular president, everyone knows that. Yeah, folks will gather and voice their displeasure on occasion. So what, who cares?

We'll see if there's a dent in the armor come midterms in the fall. That could be a sign that these No Kings protests are getting somewhere, if it turns into actual votes at the ballot box. Otherwise it's just folks letting off a little steam.

For arguments sake, let's agree that the photos you posted are accurate, reflecting perhaps thousands but not millions, and all, once again, from socialist (these are far beyond liberal) shitholes.

To exclaim that Trump isn't a popular President is disingenuous at best reflecting solely on your political bent.
His policies, not his personality is what I voted for, and those policies will dictate my midterm vote as well.
I fully expect the democrats to gain ground as the opposing party historically does in every midterm.
What will be interesting is how much they'll gain.

What's disingenuous about it? And really confused why every single post here, according to you, has a political bent. Just stating facts.

  • Below Historical Average: Trump’s average second-quarter approval in 2025 was 40%, significantly lower than the 59% average for post-WWII presidents at that same stage.
  • Few Historical Peers: Bill Clinton (44%) is the only other president to have a sub-majority approval rating during his second quarter. Trump’s ratings are often compared to Richard Nixon’s 44% during the Watergate scandal in 1973.
  • No "Honeymoon" Phase: Unlike most incoming presidents who start with approval ratings above 60%, Trump began his second term with a 47% to 49% approval rating, which is historically weak for a newly (re-)elected leader.

Recent Declines: Ratings dipped to 36%–37% by early 2026, driven largely by an unpopular war in Iran and concerns over tariffs and affordability.

Historically, Trump's second-term ratings are among the lowest ever recorded for a president at this stage, though they represent a modest improvement over his own first-term benchmarks.
