Malik Willis' price dropping

$15 million for a 6" (at best!) running back from Liberty who occasionally tosses the ball about as a backup, yes. Much too much. Sorry, never been impressed at all. Well, I suppose the 18 INTs he tossed while at Liberty is somewhat impressive.
He’s 6’1”, in the three seasons since his rookie year he’s 74/94 - 1,046 yards - 11.1 YPA - 6 TDs - 0 INTs.
As for Darnold, hardly. A former #3 overall draft pick coming off an excellent season in Minnesota? Are you seriously trying to compare these two players? They could hardly be further apart.
You act as if the draft is a perfect science. There will be a lot more interest in Willis than there was in Darnold after his fourth season which he ended with a 71.4 QBR.

Here we are talking about 2nd and 3rd tier qb's. Trubisky, throws off back foot. Willis, one read and run. Too small. Murray..a midget. Mac Jones? He hasn't really impressed and he never will.

Take the plunge. Nobody knows what a qb can do until they are up against the 1's.

Sign Willis up to 30mil / per, sign Pierce.

By doing so, your are advancing in the QB room and putting a WR starting immediately.

Spend the money unless you are saving it for the “Cam Heyward” renogotiation.

Cam Heyward is a wild card. Id cut him. We already have contracts that are too big. We don't need more.

That part of my post was huge SARCASM.

I would not renegotiate or extend him. If he says anything, warn him…….. if he persists……. Move him.

I want him to finish career here, but not with his big mouth.

Not with his big roster bonus. Cut him. Bring him back for vet min. Its kinda like break glass in case of emergency.

You have a nasty habit of projecting thoughts onto others. AGAIN, never said that.

As for 'interest'. No doubt. In a very poor QB FA environment even a very small and average QB can seem attractive to some. Kenny Pickett, for example.

My opinion, which is only informed by what I've seen myself, is that signing Mr. Willis to a massive contract would be less desirable than simply building a nice bonfire with gobs of cash at Point State Park.

Willis is signing a three-year, $67.5 million deal with the Dolphins. God bless him. And them.

I'll take Kyler Murray for 1.3.

NO THANK YOU to both.
You don't have to say no thank you regarding Willis...as I mentioned, he's already headed to Miami.

And as far as Murray, I don't get all the hate for the guy. 92.2 career passer rating, plus he averages 600 yards and 6 touchdowns on the ground. For the veteran minimum? What's not to like? You got something against midgets?

The Dolphins are paying Willis $22.5 million per, while taking a dead cap hit of $99.2 million over the next two years with Tua's release. That's $72.1 million invested in their QB1 for each of the next two seasons. Another well-run organization.
