that deal was probably done a while ago and maybe that's why the Steelers didn't poke around for himReports are Klint K will be hired by Raiders
Tall order but we will see how good he really is
Of course he’ll have a good young QB to mold
They are missing a D-line, OLBer, Secondary, and TE coach and special teams. I forgot the secondary coach left for the Vikings. So as of right now they are down 5 coaches. Is there an almost complete staff list yet?
I just dgaff about him anymoreOK. We have some new coaches...under Big Mac. Would any of these coaches agreed to work under Tomlin? I would answer " no".
Hard to tell how big the staff is going to be. I've seen they're going to expand it, but all I've seen so far is adding new titles (passing game coordinator) to existing position coaches. It would be good to see a straight up pass/run game coordinator. Chief of staff is the only new position so far.Is there an almost complete staff list yet?
McCarthy really likes the guys he had on staff.
Peko looks a little green.
The Steelers have found a new special teams coordinator.
Via Tom Pelissero of NFL Media, Pittsburgh is expected to hire Danny Crossman for the role.
Crossman, 59, is a longtime special teams coach. After coaching at the college level for several years, he made his way to the pros as a Panthers special teams assistant in 2003. He’s since served as special teams coordinator for Carolina, Detroit, Buffalo, and Miami.
Sign them up!Looks like there is competition for the OC job.
“Steelers expanded coaching staff pivots to offensive coordinator and Brian Angelichio”
Given Graham's DL experience Peko will probably be an apprentice assistant to him
Peko looks a little green.
Bringing his goodfellasSign them up!
By my account that will be the third Italian American to be on the staff!
Last time we had an Italian army, we were pretty good!
“Give them an inch and they’ll take a mile.”Looks like Scott Tolzien is out of the running.
Rumor is that he wanted to call the plays..
If you can dodge a wrench you can dodge a tackler.

Other report has him just not offered the job.McCarthy flat out said he would be calling the plays in his first press conference, so Tolzien had to be aware that wasnt in the cards for him when he first started talking to the Steelers.
I liked the idea of having a younger, rising coach as OC to complement McCarthy in the gameplanning, but from Tolzien's point of you, it might not be enough of a promotion to leave his current job.
I also wouldn't be shocked if Rooney wanted a discount since Tolzien wouldn't be calling plays.
