Just remember, a few weeks ago ESPN completely framed the playoff discussion as Notre Dame vs Miami for the last spot. They never even entertained that it should be BYU and Notre Dame in ahead of Bama and Oklahoma.

Mendoza reminds me of Joe Burrow. Not elite arm talent, but enough, with great accuracy and never gets rattled. The difference is Burrow had Chase and Jefferson to throw to so he had crazy stats.

I think he is one overall. Unless they don’t need a QB. He is more than a system QB.

Disagree. I think he has good vision, capable arm, solid size/height. I think he goes top 2. Maybe even 1 overall. 3 at worst. We will revisit come the draft.

After watching these bowls and playoffs, this kid could be one of the highest paid NIL players next year. A proven kicker is harder to find than just about any other position in college.
