This happened last time we went to Ford Field.

It’s been a while.

Hit a guy in stride down the MIDDLE of the field throwing from your own endzone.

We sure are light years away from that type of play nowadays. They only have two guys capable of that at wr, DK&Austin. I know Rodgers could make that throw, but would he even attempt it if presented the opportunity?

There was another memorable game at Ford Field about a generation ago, if I recall correctly.

Heads you’re right……….. I called heads……..

Roman is capable too... if he can remember the audible...🤐🤪🤯

Did you see MVS this past Sunday on the crossing route and the go ball with 12 men on the field? He is still fast. Deceptively fast. Rodgers overthrew that go ball but MVS had his guy beat.

He was just knocked down the depth chart they might be doubting how capable he is . He is below the vets that just came aboard..

Could be he is a ****-ty draft pick or as is normal with this coaching regime, is just being held back with no coaching up.

Roman needs to make a mark or expire with his rookie contract.

If he even makes it that far. He might end up a surprise cut….

This is sad that now two third round picks can’t see the field. Roman and Caleb the team has failed you.
I said it the other day and will say it again.
Tomlin and his lackeys couldn’t even develop a Polaroid let alone a young player. What a joke!

add Broderick Jones to that list, a 1st round pick.

The opinion could change, but currently the history up to this point has failed.

Caleb is buried. He also has a lot to learn but he is only a rookie. It isn't as if we have no one capable ahead of him. Totally different story than Wilson.

There is an underlying issue that no one seems to want to address within this organization and that is a sheer lack of player development with young drafted players.
Therefore Tomlin continues to add aging veteran players to this roster.
My God this organization needs to get their head out of their *** and blow this up starting with Tomlin.

That’s right, rookies never have success!
Sure they do, but not all of them or even most of them. Again, he was a bit raw as he never had to pass protect and more importantly, we have two very good guys ahead of him. Not every rookie will do much their first year. Particularly past the first round. It is way too early to write his story either way and that is no indictment on the team either.

I will say our trenches seem to be working out well, perhaps the silver lining. Speaking of Frazier didn’t practice. Pierre as well. Peat was limited so he is working his way back.Oh and Herbig didn’t practice either. They snagged Moon off a practice squad and he returns to the Steelers subsequently…

RB is the least of my worries. OLB could be the Achillies heel for us this week. Hope Moon is ready. I guess we picked the wrong year to try and stop using Leal. Peat is likely now behind Cook at tackle, his only real worth seems to be at guard at this point in his career. Ryan McCollum can handle a week at center if needed. I think Pat M. might be doing a better job then we all gave him credit for. I just don't like the zone scheme, but we may finally be adjusting to it. Also, with Samuel looking decent Pierre being out isn't a killer. Hard to believe those words even make sense talking about Pierre. He sort of dispels at least a little the idea we don't develop anyone. Same with Cook.

Very good post man.
I’m aligned with everything you said, except the statement about Leal..
He got a few snaps last week and from what I saw was getting pushed around pretty good in fact, he got himself off the ground a couple times.
I think bringing moon back was the right move to make. I feel he’s a better option than Leal, especially against the run. His physicality seems to be head shoulders above 98.
The other concern at that position has been the play of Sawyer. He also did not look very good last week in his limited snaps, although he had more than Leal did I believe.
Sawyer needs to bring it. This is a great opportunity for him this week to show that he can be counted on by his teammates and coaching staff.
