Is that still a thing?Outside of Allen and Maye, which QB deserves to go to the Pro Bowl more than Rodgers? An argument can be made for Nix and Herbert, but Rodgers has a much better passer rating and fewer INTs. I think if Rodgers finishes like the past couple games, he'll get the nod.
In my lifetime I have never watched a pro bowl game, but yes it's still a thing and an honor. Is that still a thing?
It's a bonus too, I thought. In my lifetime I have never watched a pro bowl game, but yes it's still a thing and an honor.
An honor when 5 to 6 players ahead of you bail out of it and then the 5th or 6th alternate is selected? Now maybe being selected All-Pro is a honor. ProBowl?...meh. Not so much of an honor anymore. In my lifetime I have never watched a pro bowl game, but yes it's still a thing and an honor.
I think Pro Bowl is voted on by the fans but All-Pro is voted on by players and coaches. An honor when 5 to 6 players ahead of you bail out of it and then the 5th or 6th alternate is selected? Now maybe being selected All-Pro is a honor. ProBowl?...meh. Not so much of an honor anymore.
Agree. Just announce the winners and be done. It's turned into a boring game of flag football.Eliminate the pro bowl.
When it comes to end of career accolades it's still something that counts. All-pro counts more, but pro-bowls still count. An honor when 5 to 6 players ahead of you bail out of it and then the 5th or 6th alternate is selected? Now maybe being selected All-Pro is a honor. Count for what? Like a participation trophy? When it comes to end of career accolades it's still something that counts. All-pro counts more, but pro-bowls still count.
Maybe, but that's not as impressive as a Tomlinship!Count for what? Like a participation trophy?
