Late games - if you're interested...

he has his problems particularly today but he isn't the worst by far.
I only care about the final outcome the final destination. We should have no doubts what the Steelers final outcome will be. Considerably less that 99 percent of fan’s expectations.

He doesn’t have to be the best, just capable of success beyond regular season play.

Man, the Raiders are bad, especially on offense. If you think the Steelers line is bad, watch the raiders. They’ve given up 5 sacks already.
They are terrible. I think the only time I've seen them play was last week against the Cowboys. Their line can't block for $hit.

Eagles are in full meltdown. About to give up a 21 pt lead.

He was at one point. I am not sure he has had the team/QB for that in a while. He probably needs to retire. We have a team minus a WR2 that is about ready for a young talented QB. I am not sure he has the patience for that and would play to win now not for the future in games not because he doesn't want to win it all, but it is just his nature. His desire to never be out of contention has hurt us yet is an admirable trait. I don't think he plays for 9-8 seasons as some say I think he just refuses to ever face truth of their shortcomings and wills them to contention. In doing so they haven't replenished the key spot/s.

People here can cope all they want to but getting rid of Pickens for peanuts was one of the dumbest moves this organization has ever made. Another feather in Tomlin’s cap.
Yes, he was worth a 1st rounder, though nobody offered. He would be completely wasted if he was in Pittsburgh and throwing a fit every week. I don't feel bad about trading him, I just wish they would've traded him when they could've got a higher draft pick.

I also have a feeling that Rodgers had no interest in having Pickens around. If he wanted him, he would've been here for the year, IMO.

People think Sanders sucks after a game and a half. I get it people don't like him but it is 1.5 games in his rookie year. A lot of good QBs looked terrible for many games. Not saying Sanders will be good, but the hate is crazy

It isn't just now. I don't hate him, but he isn't very good.

Last week I watched two teams fail to score on 4th down rather than kick a field goal in Europe. This week the Cowboys pass up taking the lead and fail to score. I don't get it.

The dumbest thing I've witnessed today. And I've seen a lot of dumb football today.

The man would be a great life coach. Just not a great HC now in the present. His approach has been figured out and he is incapable of adjustments. I have no problem with his desires it is his inability to be able to identify his shortcomings and or be willing and capable to adjust them.

He was at his best when Ben could ignore things and opt out of the play. Ditto AR. The other ones just follow the blueprint to a fault. The more he put his blueprint on everything the less success the team had.

I am in the belief the man would be great for my child if I had a new one needing influence. Not so great for my team that needs fresh schemes and needs to be able to X and O proficient on one side of the ball.

For me he is passed probably needing to retire. Enjoy his success and ride off into the sunset. No shame in that.

Boy I'm sure glad we dumped George Pickens for some future Jabroni he SUCKS!

9 receptions on 9 targets for 146 yds & 1 TD is just pathetic!
He would have had thst here by now. This season

This would've been 3 weeks worth of production if he stayed with the Steelers. He was bound to blow up in Dallas' offense.

That for some reason is being lost on fans . This team is handcuffed on both sides of the ball. Here I thought the Steelers didn’t keep prisoners. Yet the fans prison food lacks flavor and far too often leaves a bad taste in our mouth.

JSN setting a team record of over 1300 yards receiving. I was watching him and the Seahawks. What a player! No wonder DK was expendable.
Some of that is Darnold the guy can sling the pigskin.

Yeah, even if we had Pickens and DK, this offense was still going to play it conservative. At this point it's a choice to not load up at wide receiver. I'm also beginning to believe all these WR2 rumors are more along the Pirates signing FAs so the Steelers can say "we tried" when in reality they weren't all too interested. Tomlin's philosophy on how to win games has the team hovering right around .500 again. This philosophy won't do much worse than that, but will never do better.

It is a conservative offense because Mike Tomlin wants it that way. Arthur Smith can be aggressive and attack but that’s not what Tomlin wants.

Yes,I remember having that argument last season with a member on here. I was saying how great of a season he had with Minnesota. He was saying anyone could be great with their WR’s and that McCarthy would be just as good. Even though he hadn’t played one down in the NFL. I just laughed. He said the same about Goff a few years ago.

Jerry Rice had Montana and Steve Young sling the pigskin as well. It certainly helps.
