Week 12 Steelers at Bears Game-day thread.

DEI Coach Lives In His Fears refuses to trust the only player on his team worth a ****.

Fire that ******* jackets NOW
Game is frustrating as it is....its crazy people go complete classless over a game when you think about it and put things in perspective.

You’ve said way worse defending Tomlin here, you get to lecture no one hypocrite, your posts are still there, unless you go back and delete them like a b

Go play in the street troll, we all know what you’re about

He has options on those calls. He's never been highly accurate in the short/intermediate stuff, he's scared to go there.
He's no Aaron Rodgers.
He was very accurate short and medium, today he was terrible deep and no one was open deep. Where were the rollouts this week? I have a new theory, as soon as we thrown an INT Tomlin turtles over the last 2 years. Our win percentage throwing even one Int has been terrible for two years. Tomlin is living in his fears. He has to start trusting his offense or retire. His reluctance is holding back their growth.

I'll agree with you as he loves to meddle. I'll agree because Mason was in. I think Rodgers gets a lot more say, but Mason is still gun shy.

He has to be able to lead his receivers on those deep passes. He was throwing them either short or out of bounds (at least two to Wilson, and one to DK). How can you tell if there not open if hes throwing them short?? If he had connected on even one of those throws I think we're talking about different outcome for the game.

Bills, Ravens, Dolphins, Lions. It'll be a surprise if they don't lose 4 of 5 including today.
It also wouldn't surprise me to win them all. You never know with this team. We live and die by the turnover and that will kill when we turn it over ourselves.

The one to Austin was perfect and would have been a TD if he wasn't grabbed and yanked. Smart play by the DB as he was cooked on that throw. Only good deep pass of the game. Hell the open deep pass I saw.

And we ran for 186. The pass calls were terrible. No one was open and we abdicated the middle. This happens every time we throw an INT early. Tomlin turtles.

Well okay, then

Lol you are somethin' else :sneaky::LOL:
Would it really surprise you for us to win games we shouldn't? The Dolphins game seems the scariest to me based on recent trends. **** if don't turtle after the early INT today we should have won. The running game produced 186 yards. We have talent but Tomlin has to let them play. The only way that happens seemingly is with AAron pushing him. If he isn't out there then Mike lives in his fears and won't let the QB let it rip.

Yes, against tese four teams, it would surprise me. We'll beat Miami, but that's it.

The play calling was putrid. Especially the last 4 plays.

Loss, Loss, Win, Loss. Wish I could say otherwise, but I cant.
I think we go 2-2. Win the next two then lose two. If I were putting money on them but they are so up and down who knows. Tomlin either has to retire or they have to push him completely out of offense play calling and schemes. If he isn't the culprit, then Smith needs to go but he has shown flashes of knowing what he is doing.

Burgh didn’t say anything classless. Your post is way over the top.

The last few are hard to judge on panic mode, the pass calls overall were weak and worse third down play calls were terrible. We might have been better off just running all 4 downs. We ran well overall but then get afraid to pound it on third and short. We should take a page from the Eagles and run it twice there. With our jumbo package we would get it more often than not and we can surprise them with some play action to the TEs. What we did run on third was terrible at best most drives. Even though he was completing them.

The bad news is that this team sucks.

The good news is that their suckage will aid their draft position so that they can get a franchise QB. And we know how great Mike Tomlin is with young ...

Uhh, never mind.

Will they get a franchise ? This class is looking less likely by the week.

If they don't leave our RT uncovered it could have been a different game. If our DBs didn't drop multiple ints it might have been a different game. If we ever threw consistently across the middle of the field it might have been a different game. If our D didn't give the opponent free 1st downs at the end of the 2nd quarter before half it might have been a different game. So I agree. If he hits just one of them. It could have been a different game.
