Dems in congress call on active duty military to disobey "illegal orders"

This is beyond stupid. Military service members understand to not follow unlawful orders. Nothing more than a bunch of Congressional idiots looking for attention, getting tied to a bunch of PACs, and getting rich/powerful.

"None of the Democrats in the video specified what illegal orders they should be concerned about or what to do if they believe they are given one."

Since they can't say what the illegal orders are, it is nothing but grandstanding and hopefully voters will remember when re-election time comes around for these folks.

It's been well over 50 years for me, but if I disobeyed a direct order back then, I'd be looking at a court martial.

100%. Every single time I deployed we were briefed on such matters. Not to mention I had incredible leadership who wasn't going to put us in a situation that would have us questioning orders. For these asshats to say what they said, to put questions into our service members heads is irresponsible and downright treasonous.
 
There is no evidence that anyone anywhere has issued an illegal order of any kind. Yet, the six members of congress just had to put out a video telling military members not to follow illegal orders. Members of the military could look at that video and believe they’ve been given an illegal order even though that’s not the case and even if they don’t know what an illegal order is.

“Shoot the prisoners” is an illegal order. “Gather intel on illegal immigrants in [city]” is not an illegal order.

What they have done is dangerous. It could start a mutiny. I don’t know if they’re guilty of seditious conspiracy in this case, but they are walking a VERY fine line and being military veterans doesn’t absolve them.

Yep. Plus all the rules of engagement and the other **** we endured trying to fight and win a war with one hand tied around our balls.

I wonder how a Bacon House would do? Probably pretty damn good but the workers would likely be attacked by dogs after their shift so it would be hard to keep help.
