i don't agree with the death penalty, but per federal law (which you won't read):

2384. Seditious conspiracy​

If two or more persons in any State or Territory, or in any place subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, conspire to overthrow, put down, or to destroy by force the Government of the United States, or to levy war against them, or to oppose by force the authority thereof, or by force to prevent, hinder, or delay the execution of any law of the United States, or by force to seize, take, or possess any property of the United States contrary to the authority thereof, they shall each be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty years, or both.

And where does it say the military has to follow illegal orders?

Do you mean like when Slick Willie bombed Serbia, a NATO ally, for like 58 days straight without Congressional approval or oversize?

Or when Bomma and the neo-cons orchestrated the 2014 coup in Ukraine that caused Russia to seize Crimea? Or when he bombed the living **** out his very recently former Syrian ally?

These American Veterans are talking about pitting the military and intelligence community against American Citizens. So **** off and mind your own business.

Minding one's own business? When did YOU serve this country? Never? Huh! And here you are in a thread talking about rules of engagement, unlawful orders, and sedition. I guess you stayed at a Holiday Inn or some **** because you're spouting off information you know little to nothing about.

See, this is the problem. Those members of Congress never specified any illegal orders. Not one. And now the media, and others are out there parroting that Trump is giving illegal orders. Your post implies it at a minimum.

There is no evidence that anyone anywhere has issued an illegal order of any kind. Yet, the six members of congress just had to put out a video telling military members not to follow illegal orders. Members of the military could look at that video and believe they’ve been given an illegal order even though that’s not the case and even if they don’t know what an illegal order is.

“Shoot the prisoners” is an illegal order. “Gather intel on illegal immigrants in [city]” is not an illegal order.

What they have done is dangerous. It could start a mutiny. I don’t know if they’re guilty of seditious conspiracy in this case, but they are walking a VERY fine line and being military veterans doesn’t absolve them.

watch this. the guy tells you and shows you WHY this is dangerous and outlines precisely what these six are attempting to do.

This is spin. They referred only to illegal orders, not the legitimacy of the President.

I don't believe that this stunt was in anyway directed at our military personnel, but solely at the public in general to stir the pot if you will.
The oath taken by anyone entering any branch of service is crystal clear.
Not sure it reaches the level of sedition because I'd like to believe that those serving know better, but it certainly reaches a high level of buffoonery, making the 6 of them appear small and petty, and quite possibly dangerous.
