Dang! I saw he was listed at 264 and figured he was easily 285 but 311?!??!?! That is one big MF'er! No wonder he can play LT without having to add any weight.
Broderick is 6”5 311 so Mount Washington has two inches on him … and he can catch.

When that Cincy defender tried to punch the ball away and Darnell just tossed him aside like he was nothing.
Again, I rarely watch the combine... I happened to watch the day Washington was working out. i was 100% certain he was gonna be a first round pick... but these days the dream TE is a tall, slightly thick WR... and nobody saw the value here...

I saw every one of his games at Georgia. He unfortunately had Brock Bowers playing at the same time or he would have played a lot more. I was happy the Steelers drafted him. So far he's been their best pick out of Georgia the last 5 years.
He's certainly setting himself up for a big payday.

Over the last few years I don't think Tomlin saw it either.
The one issue with huge guys that can move like him is that their knees and ankles are usually a problem by their late 20's... so he may end up being an olineman in time

Keep in mind ind that this big a person usually has a short lived NFL life-span.
Use him while we can but don’t expect long term career, 6-10 years.

With the limited amount of use he gets, he'll last 20 years. Tomlin might be here that long anyway.
I am happy they are finally getting him so involved. I got tired of yelling at the TV the past 2 years.

as a Vols fan, i hated seeing this mf on the field. i was ecstatic when we drafted this monster.
then i remembered the Tomlin Effect, and saw the board pull out their labels in attempt to call him a bust.
now, it's fairly obvious anything thrown to the man is either caught or eaten.
