Emmanuel Sanders makes NFL Top 100

Can someone post the list from #1 to #100 here?

Yeah that list is BS. Sanders is right behind Joe Flacco (i think)....ridiculous.

Over his 4 yrs. here Sanders was probably third to Archer and Jones in negative posts-both on his skills and the Steelers desire to keep him. His 67 catches In his last yr. here and 101 last year kind of indicates the Steelers were right. I hope the same holds true with a little patience for both Archer and Jones.

2 point conversion drop. Big time players, make big time plays in big games. Period. **** him. Like it or not, some guys stink it up when the heat is on, that damn 2 pointer should have been caught. I know it's only one play, but if you can't count on your guy to make that play, what's he on your team for?

Joe

It is a lot easier to play WR with a QB that throws timing routes and is extremely accurate and efficient like Manning as opposed to Ben who takes a lot longer to throw the ball and often results in a scrambling Sanders is a precise route runner who is limited in scrambling to get open. Manning has made mediocre receivers look good and has made a good receiver, Sanders, look great.

And Ben threw to a receiver that led the league in receptions and yardage last year. What's your point?

It seems AB has had the same issue that Sanders had with our game manager. What to do?

In his last year with Steelers he caught 67 and 6 TD's. Above average for receivers and still progressing.
If he stayed and was healthy his numbers wouldn't have been materially different here than with Broncos.

Receivers get better with experience. Wheaton has better numbers than Sanders did after 2 years.
In his 3rd year Sanders had 44 catches and 1 TD. I believe Wheaton will better that by far in his
3rd season.

Sanders was man-handled in the North. He does well against the west's less physical finesse style defenses. Peyton added to his success, but he isn't asked to support the run and he doesn't get jammed and knocked off his route as he did out here.

Well for what it is worth this how they claim to have done the list but it still sounds strange. Last year Ben put up some really impressive numbers so I suspect he should have gone higher based on that. Brown was an NFL leader stat wise and should also likely have been higher.

- This list is based solely on 2014 play. Nothing that happened in previous years or may happen in the future is accounted for. This isn’t about class or talent, it’s about performance throughout 2014.

- This list is created with an All Positions Created Equal mantra. So you won’t see 32 quarterbacks heading the list — even though that is the most valuable position — instead seeing how guys played relative to what is expected from their position. You might disagree with this for doing a Top 101 list, which is your right, but this is how we’ve done it for the past three years and will continue doing it so that every player has a fair shot at getting the respect they deserve.

- A repetition because it’s often the most misunderstood; this is not a list about talent or a lifetime achievement award. It is solely, 100% based on what happened between the opening kickoff of the 2014 regular season and the final snap of the Super Bowl this past February. Anything outside those dates does not matter.

It sounds like they just use the plus minus from the year, and add them together to get their rankings. Not a bad metric and fun to do.
