Beanie Bishop released from ps to make room for MVS whom the team signed today.
Kid had a nice rookie season but lost playing time to Cam Sutton last season and never got another chance.
Last season was his rookie season. I think Bishop was another one of those underdogs who became a Steeler Nation favourite based on his getting a few interceptions in successive weeks. The games I saw on TV , outside of the interceptions, I didn't think he was that impressive.Beanie Bishop released from ps to make room for MVS whom the team signed today.

And no pedigree, and things of that natureI liked Beanie, he had a few splash plays, but nothing over the top. I think he was one that had communication issues.
Life’s Work
Salute the nation
In the Land Of The Blind the one-eyed man is king.I have to disagree with the notion he never got another chance. He had 8 weeks full of chances on the practice squad to show he deserved being back on the roster. He had training camp and preseason to prove he deserved to be back on the roster.
We can hug that beanie baby and know it looked better on the shelf wrapped in plastic.
Sorry my Steeler brother that practice squad shelters more players than ever. Yet they decided to choose him out of all the candidates. There is a logical reason behind it …
he did his best but his best wasn’t good enough.
Kid was a route jumper... Tomlin values being in position and not making a play till the guy is 20 yards downfield rather than a guy who intercepts 4 balls but gives up 4 bad passes...And no pedigree, and things of that nature

His passer rating against was sub sixty...
I think all these DBs get scapegoated because the DB scheme is convoluted and doesnt work IRL..
We simplified last game and did slightly better
I agreeRelax all you Beanie fans..
Good old beanie will be back on the practice squad in short time, and I am predicting he will see some playing time before year is done
I mean I am not disagreeing in general... when your DB coverage scheme fails but you have a good pass rush, having route jumpers absolutely slows down the offensive reads..352 passing yards allowed
2 100 yard receivers
Wide open spots everywhere in that shyte zone
15 yard cushions in man
All that even being +5 in TO margin is abysmal
Yep they were definitely looking slightly better
They got several fortunate bounces and made the most of them converting them into takeaways which almost makes a guy like Beanie seem like the perfect fit for the Tomlin sieve, ope I mean Tomlin “scheme”
The sieve Is so reliant on turnovers and not really covering anyone that he seems like he could be captain of that D…the perfect round peg if you will.
