College Football Week 6

Thanks for the tip, should be a good test against Alabama. I shall be watching.

Will Berm be screaming “Fire DeBoer” after the first series?🙂
Not sure, but if Mizzou manages to win and Beau has a big game, he'll be in the Heisman race. Nobody really knows about this guy yet, but they will.

Football is an emotional game, and I've been on plenty of really good teams both playing and coaching and it's difficult to get motivated if you don't have the right coach/culture in the locker room for a lousy 0-4 team. I'm not excusing Penn State's epic break down or Franklin's sorry ***...well...everything. I'm just saying from experience that there needs to be a motivational coach or player (leadership) to inspire great play against bad teams.

Franklin is an outstanding program builder and recruiter; he's shown that everywhere he's gone. But he just isn't a head football coach that will win you championships consistently.

I do not and never will understand why programs on both the national and college level have not seperated out various duties from the HC position and vested them in a different position.

Great managers arent always great strategists. Its two separate skillsets. HC's need to oversee everything, motivate the team, discipline guys, pick the staff, make roster cuts... but in game X's and O's and time management needs to be left to an analytical type.

This is how private corporation, the military, just about everything other than pro sports is run... and really its just tge HC position... everything else gets hyper specialized...

Every time we see these guys who are great at 99% of the HC job fail over that 1% they just suck at, it drives me nuts...

100%. I had a fantastic instructor at Airman leadership school who told me that the best leaders aren't the smartest in the room, they surround themselves with people who will eventually replace them. It has always served me well in my career. Who has Franklin and Tomlin surrounded themselves with who could replace them? yeah, exactly.

You know who I'm all the way in on? Beau Pribula. You can watch him light up Alabama on Saturday. Now there's a guy who would have been perfect for Andy Kotelnicki's system.
Well I watched Top upon your recommendation. I thought he sucked. 🍻

Auburn is handling Georgia dogs.

10 - zip into 2nd qaurter, held Bulldogs to -4 rushing in the 1st qaurter.

Where the HellA is TMC, I want to chew his asss for not having these guys ready ?????

Salute the nation

Auburn already starting to self-destruct and it's not yet halftime.

Yeah you are right. We now know he’s not very good.
Sorry to disappoint you gentlemen. I haven't seen the game yet, but 3 total touchdowns and 61 yards rushing in a 3-point loss to Alabama doesn't sound horrendous to me. Of course, I was busy witnessing his former teammate lose to a three touchdown underdog for the second week in a row, so I hope you'll forgive me.

16-28, 167 2TD AND 2 INT. He wasn’t very good throwing the ball, threw two bad picks and should have thrown two more and nearly lost a fumble.

During the broadcast they said Pribula had interceptions in 4 straight games. I’d still take him over Allar, but that’s a low bar at this point.

That Goal line Touch Down that showed it was TD on the replay but was dreamed no TD, was the turning point. Just before the 1/2, it totally frazzled Auburn HC and it trickled to the players.

Self destruct and couldn’t recover.
