Talk about a choke job. He dropped 2 in the first half too. 3 from what I could see in the second half,and big ones. Dak put them right in there.

I saw him loaf on his decoy route on the 4th down pass to Lamb.

It's really too early to make the comparison but he's getting closer in his production. But, as I type this, it really isn't close because Barry didn't have a Pro Bowl QB or world class WRs on the field to open space for him...

Barry was special. His start stop ability IMO is unmatched by any RB ever. He was just stuck on a horrific team.

What last night reinforced for me is the idea that success in the NFL is less about great players playing great, or coaches with excellent strategy and more about which coach can keep his collection of 14 year olds focused the best for a season.

Some would argue that he cost them the game. Another personal foul on him for losing his cool when they were going in for a TD. They get backed up 15 yards, run a few more plays and then fumble. A TD there gives them more points than the eagles ended up with

George still looked like the lazy ba$tard head case we know so well, and it was game 1, against the defending champs, on national television etc. I would anticipate it's only gonna get worse. If his targets remain a fraction of what Cee Dee is getting, he'll start pouting and then it will really be on. I will say that based upon his reactions, each of his three catches were *&^%ing amazing.

Thing that really stood out for me was the lack of pass blocking on both teams, especially these two teams known for their offensive line play historically.

We have to remember that since they nearly outlawed hitting in practices and starters rarely play preseason, that the first few weeks of regular season are crap. These are semi preseason games for the first few weeks. Same with college football where they also reduced hitting in practice.

Except he has 4 inches on him and 30 pounds. Barkley is basically the exact same size as my favorite non Steeler. Earl Campbell is who he reminds me of.

He spit on the ground in the general direction of Carter. May or may not have been directed at him. Guys have to spit all the time on the field. Right or wrong for Dak he didn’t spit at on someone intentionally. Carter has to control himself in the at situation. His actions are all on him.

I 100% agree with this. Best running back I have ever seen by far. He juked Rod Woodson out of his acl in 1995.
