Read the same article applying to the QB that can’t hit the broad side of a barn…the bust Anthony Richardson.

Why is that every crap player can magically be coached up/fixed by Mike but at the same time he can’t coach up/fix anyone that is actually on his roster? It’s quite dumbfounding

Johnny Football at the time he was drafted was extremely immature and nowhere near mentally ready for the NFL.
He didn’t take being drafted into the league serious and thought it was all fun and games.
Wouldn’t learn the playbook, acted immature, and his behavior was horrible.
The Sanders brothers, one went undrafted and was signed by the Bucs. So he got cut… so what!
Any other undrafted free agent rookie that gets cut no one says a damn word but Sanders it’s front page news. Goofy media has to make it a big deal when it really isn’t.
The other one when asked Saturday by a reporter if he thinks he’ll make the Brown’s roster. His answer, “obviously”.
Wouldn’t the best answer have been something like, hay, I’ve worked hard, put in the work, I have a lot to learn and I hope to do that here in Cleveland.
Just the sense of entitlement is what turns teams off.
I like the kid Cam Ward drafted number one. Goes about his business in a professional manner and not once has told anyone “I’m legendary”.
He’s what you want your starting QB to be. A great representative of your football team to go along with plenty of talent.
Shadeur has a lot to learn and it’s not only about football.

Got it. Was thinking of the name only. The Cowboys always seem to have a solid line, but not so much right now so I was surprised to see the name.

I've thought he's been overrated for years, and never saw the draw. Never understood us feeding him so many targets, it's like they wanted him to be the next star WR he just didn't have the credentials to be one. Wasn't overly fast, hands were suspect, but he ran good routes...that could be the scouting report for a lot of failed college WR's. Hell, Limas Sweed didn't have a problem getting open...

Coaches love great route-runners
Which is why I worry when a guy like Hurleman shows up on the radar... no physical attributes that stand out... not fast, not really quick, not tall or strong, meh athletic score, meh hands... but he runs perfect routes...
guys like that often draw coaches pet status...

It's easy to get open when you run towards your own EZ.

If he could pull his head out of his A$$ AND be a team player he’d probably look good with Aaron as the WR2 next to DK

Problem is he can’t pull his head out of his A$$ and isn’t a team player.

That being said I’ve read many times (by idiot talking heads) that Coach T can fix guys like this

Kick the tires and send him down to the junk yard where his trash attitude belongs

Being cut by the Browns with their current state of WR's is exactly this, and that's nothing to say of his getting traded twice, and cut now for the 4th time in the last 6 months?

Will the Stains keep the streak going of every team getting better after getting rid of DJ? Or will the Stains just Stain?
 
Johnson was not elite, but he was very good. I'm not sure what happened to the guy he just kind of imploded. I was hoping hurleman stuck, but maybe we can stash him on the p.squad

So homerism not sure if that is a word.
But watching the Steeler/panther game of course I focused on off. When the Steelers were on off. And Def. When the Steelers were on Def.
The announcers made Hunter Renfrow sound like such a stud, I started wondering why the Steelers didn't at least look at him. What a find for Carolina! He cut.

So many teams had eyes on him. Something has happened to his skill set. Even if he was a pain in the ***, if he had same ability as he had with Steelers he'd have a job.
