I agree. When was the last time a Steelers pre-season hall of famer amounted to anything when the games mattered? Plus, Skylar Thompson has been pre-season MVP before with Miami.

Howard may not have to be season ending IR.they were talking him making the roster then going on regular IR with option to return and keeping Skylar then trading him or Mason when Howard is ready.

Maybe, but tge logic Ive heard was that even if healthy, Tomlin doesnt play rookies if they missed preseason, so they wont really expect to use him anyways
