"The way that he leads the room, the way that he talks in the team meeting, the way he is in practice," Rodgers continued. "The surprise has been, just, what a great dude he is, what a great leader he is, on top of what I already expected, which was already high based on what I thought from afar, but being able to see it in person is incredible."

Where are my *****-made crybaby sopping wet vaginas. Twist yourselves in knots.

He makes for some great press conference quotes. When the standard stops being mediocrity, get back to me on coach cliche. I mean, Rodgers has been there a month, he hasn't experienced the game day experience yet. Keep that in mind.

Yeah because Rodgers says he likes him 8 days into camp is way more important than 8 straight years without being competitive in a playoff game.

Your title of this thread is a total misrepresentation of the quote you have in your post, but that’s what trolls do

If they run the same style of offense as they have the last 5 seasons Rodgers will be signing a much different tune in the regular season

Go crawl back in your hole troll

We'll see how A-Aron feels when Shades goes Turtle Ball in the playoff game again.

I have not been a fan of Mike T since before 2012, and I want him gone as much as the next dude. His coaching is way below par (see his coaching tree, being unprepared, not gameplanning for team weakness, etc, etc.). His press conferences and endless bullshit cliches make me ill, obviously. That being said, the guy seems really likable in interviews (this one and the Pivot with Ryan Clark). Someone you'd want to hang out with and have a beer and talk ****. It's like two different people (the man vs the ****** coach).

Again, that being said, I think having Aaron Rogers is the best thing for him at this point in his career. He again has that franchise QB that can bail his *** out and give him a chance to win in the playoffs against the great teams. Ben did it for years, then when he retired, we saw his coaching exposed. Hopefully Aaron can bring some late career magic to the Steelers and bring home another title. Just hope that Aaron's success doesn't result in another extension for Tomlin. I still want him gone.

Can’t dispute his locker room greatness.
I just wish it translated into Super Bowls.

Ask Rodgers how many playoff wins Tomlins locker room greatness has won him.

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t hate Tomlin and I believe he gets a bad rap a lot of times. Just saying.

Get back to me at the end of the season Aaron. I heard this same type of thing from Mitch, Russell, Justin coming into the organization. And he is a good leader of men. He just doesn't have the x and o answer against good teams and the team will lay an egg at least once against a **** team this year.

It sure will be interesting Ron. We will see if there is any difference well before any playoff game. 3rd and 8? 3rd and 14? 3rd and 5? No problem. All we have to do is throw the ball one yard plus or minus from the line of scrimmage. That’s been the strategy the last 5 years it seems.

Throw that ******* ball down the ******* field.

LOL, and all that has led to so much playoff success, he's such a great leader he's lead everyone in that locker room to thinK the standard is non losing seasons, instead of post season success.

Keep in mind, we all are aware of Shades horrible playoff record but Rodgers is not much better.
Eighteen seasons in GB with one SB! He’s had plenty of chokes in the playoffs with the Pack.
He’s been here five minutes now he’s telling the fan base how to feel and not believe their own eyes on what we’ve seen with Shades the past fifteen years.
He needs to shut up and worry about staying upright and making plays. I wouldn’t exactly say his last three years should give anyone any encouragement.

Tomlin's playoff results are much worse than Rodgers. Tomlin's record is 8-11, including losing 6 straight and with double-digit losses in his last 4. Rodgers is 11-10 and 4-4 since 2016, with three losses coming in overtime and another three by 5 points or less. He had a passer rating of 91 or higher in 19 of those 21 playoff games. He's got 45 touchdowns and 13 interceptions in his postseason career with a 100.1 rating.

There's no comparison, in my opinion.

Well I get he's a company man now,but he hasn't been here for decades. I can't think of anyone who is above being criticized. It's all on film forever. It doesn't lie.

All of the talk in the world doesn't bury it. The only thing that matters is changing what clearly hasn't worked in a very, very long time.

I hope this is the year it happens.

Well, for the first time in 4 years we have a QB who can throw the ball downfield with a modicum of accuracy.

Pretty much what you would expect Roders to say. Plus in camp / preseason we seem to run a different offense. Pickett probably had the best preseason of any QB a couple yrs ago then the team got stomped by SF and went into turtle ball.
