Nah, its still a lot of salary that drives the equation... but if he gets cut for a non football injury before a certain week he is taken off the books for comp picks...

There is also the snap percentage thing, but even as a backup he still would probably stay in the comp pick equation levels...

So Najeh is possibly missing all of Training camp...
Him getting reduced snaps or cut with an PUP/ non football related would likely seriously impact the Steelers comp picks...

The Chargers drafted a stud running back in the first round. Omarion Hampton was already going to dominate the carries, but you're right that a long-term injury will be impactful (and hopefully he'll be okay). With that said, he was expected to bring back a 5th.
