One of those one guy plays seven competing fan base fans. Called it Pittspurgatory. And he's not wrong. The Duece is going to have to take out his hearing aids if it's another Ground Hog Day in January.
I actually like the moves I just am not confident n the X and O aspect. Bringing it all together.Bottom line here…. Tomlin has an enormous amount of influence on building the roster. Anyone that thinks that Omar makes these moves on his own without Tomlin being behind them is just naive.
IMO all these moves made this off season are moves of desperation and it’s like rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.
Let us see how this plays out and if it all blows up in their faces, will Tomlin be held accountable?
I hope as a life long Steeler supporter that this all works out but man do I have reservations about this thing.
Idk. What intrigues me is the moves as well. But this guy sat there in front of the football world after the Jets game when he put in Wilson and bragged about that is why he is highly compensated. A bit arrogant, eh? And then for it to end the way it did. It had to be humbling, I would hope. Humbling enough to realize what you are doing ain't working. I am really hoping that is the case.I actually like the moves I just am not confident n the X and O aspect. Bringing it all together.
I just don’t see it as a sinking ship. More like a ship that stays above water but doesn’t take you were you want to go.
Still at least there is enough new pieces worthy of to make it an interesting watch.
There would be zero wrong with the moves except for this thing called the future. They will almost certainly win more games then they would have. .........but they wont sniff a championship and we will all be back next April at draft pick 20.I actually like the moves I just am not confident n the X and O aspect. Bringing it all together.

Read again what I said. The emphasis was on Tomlin being behind these decisions. He gets what he wants and a perfect example is Rodgers.I laugh every time I hear that Tomlin makes all the decisions without any other input. These decisions are made as a group effort, and if they aren’t, they should be. No GM is making moves in a vacuum without input from others.
Shades has finally realized that it’s been a while since he’s won a playoff game and the media is starting to notice.IMO all these moves made this off season are moves of desperation and it’s like rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.

Tomlin wanted Rodgers come hell or high water and he got him.
We have the highest paid defense in the league four years straight now but they don’t always play like it. You think Tomlin is not behind that?
As an example, the Chiefs and Eagles rank near the bottom on how they pay their defenses. Their money is spent on offense.
Yes, Omar and Andy certainly have input but don’t kid yourself who is really running this shitshow.
There are many opinions and voices in the room but do you honestly believe he isn't the final say? Really? What is Kahn's football Acumen?I laugh every time I hear that Tomlin makes all the decisions without any other input. These decisions are made as a group effort, and if they aren’t, they should be. Colbert had football chops. And yes had heavy experience. Considering he was almost done when they drafted Kenny, I'd say Tomlin still had big say. Kahn has been with the organization a long time and he understand deals. But he doesn't have scouting, coaching or I'd assume major playing experience. Im not saying he has no opinion or that opinion is meaningless. Im saying no on field decision is being made without Tomlin"s ok. That echoes what Roethlisberger said.In my mind, I think Colbert likely had more say through his tenure. Was there pre-Tomlin.
Tomlin probably has more say in the Khan regime since he’s been there much longer.
And I like the moves by Khan & co much better than Colbert & co.

The terms were coined to reflect truth. Pittsburgh fans won't like it. It will spill over onto the national scene and it will tarnish Roonys shiny image. Tomlin too.
The love affair is over.

Short answer is no.Let us see how this plays out and if it all blows up in their faces, will Tomlin be held accountable?

Remember that one time when he had his best team and he beat the Chargers 11-10 in like the only 11-10 game in the annals of NFL history? We didn't know it at the time, but what a harbinger of Tomceptual greatness that would follow. We’ll see if his Tomcepts take over the league and he revolutionizes play with conservative play and baseball scores and game shortening techniques that make the game like watching grass grow or paint dry…I’m certain one of these days the Tomcepts will obviously reign supreme and the Steelers will rise to glory hoisting number 7 averaging 17 pts a game.
Just a matter of time
