Report: Aaron Rodgers Is At Steelers Facility On Friday

Ben stated his injuries.....Cowher didn't like that. Did he over exaggerate or was Cowher trying to fug the system? I don't know.

It all started when Ben took a big shot and concussed. Ben said he couldn’t play and Hines Ward called him out on it by saying if it were him, he’d be playing. Everyone took that as Ben faking it when in reality he was concussed and had to take a week off. After that many said Ben was a drama queen.

How big of sheep they are.

Ben was one of the toughest ever QBs to play the game, especially post 1990. Ben was not “protected” like cheating t*mmyb*y, Payton manning, Drew brees & others, and if the Mahomes / Allen / Hurts didn’t have the league rule protection….. they’d be out every other week as well.

How can anyone say Ben was soft is beyond me. The media baited questions, Ben probably answered more than he should have. Definitely a Cowher and reporting injuries conflict vs QB cander.

Yeah, he "faked" that broken nose too... and kept playing

I hope one day we are able to draft another self-absorbed clown just like him. I will take a few more SB wins from someone like that. We first have to get rid of Tomlin though Ibwould think.
Not really.... We would have 2 clowns then could almost make a circus

on a side note Fields was sacked 6x on 10 dropbacks in 11 on 11 drills. I think it was first practice so cant read much into it, but that is pretty bad

Bears fan: "Would you play for Chicago next season"

AR: No, but there's a team that has a road game here next season......

I wouldn’t read anything into ANYTHING this time of year.

Until 1/2 way through training camp, that’s about the start of seriousness.

TRUE, you want to hear good things as opposed to bad things, so there is that.

Well thought out in-depth post.😀

He still didn’t mention the Steelers or that he was definitely playing. It looked like he was playing with the fan more than anything.

It's so obvious that a cave man understands what the deal is, just not you. I'm sorry this has happened to you. Best of luck.

He only has one option now as far as a team and he wouldn't have jerked Steeler fans around like that. He likes the attention.

Again, why? Why is the majority owner Art Rooney II allowing for this circus?
Rodgers is a shell of himself at 41-1/2 years of age which is ancient in professional sports.
Hell, even in his prime the Packers only got to one SB after the 2010 season and he’s very far away from his prime.
Is this about preserving a meaningless record of non losing seasons? They can’t be serious about thinking they’re a SB contender with this guy.
The Jets were 5-12 last season with him and they had a roster that was not that far off from what we have.
I’d just plan for the future, sign Wentz as the backup and go Mason as the starter with the rookie Howard as the number three.
So the team has a losing season. So what! It helps us more next draft when it matters that we have a top ten pick. Much easier to move up even further than if we finish in the Tomlin mushy middle.
The franchise is so misguided by this owner who has absolutely zero business having majority control. He's run this in the ground and now it’s an embarrassment.

Drink IRON City, I watched Big Ben his entire career.

Tough as nails. We may have had some drama queens through the years but anyone suggesting that Big Ben was one needs a new pair of glasses.

In addition, a lot of refs in the NFL would allow Big Ben to be mauled without a flag while Brady would whine for a flag if a D lineman looked at him with a scowl.

I remember a play when BB was getting up from the pile when he was hit from behind by a D lineman and knocked over. No flag. “Incidental” contact.

If that had been Brady the flag would fly, the Defender would be ejectied and fined a gazillion $.

I think AR is tough BUT has a bum leg and will be 42 in December.

I'd rather have a rough season and a good draft pick, but the clowns in charge are all about 9 wins. They pop the bubbly as as soon as we hit 9.

a man in a plaid shirt says sorry about what happened to you

Here is the best I can gleam with all the breadcrumbs out there

Rodgers agreed to play for the Steelers if he doesnt outright retire early in UFA. This is why the team pivoted from Russel Wilson, who was supposedly asking for around 30 mil before the steelers moved on. Wilson then took the Giants job offer because it was the last one out there...

Rodgers hasnt signed because someone close to him is fighting cancer and he is dedicating all his time to that, not football right now.
Maybe it is a friend or maybe its his estranged parents or brothers... in any case he apparently is not football focused yet.

I understand that...

Frankly even if he misses minicamp and OTAs, how long will it really take to learn the 35 plays we actually run over and over on O? 🤦🏻‍♂️

So because everyone can understand it why report in-depth coverage? Nothing happened to me all is good. My point was not everyone reads drivel from twitter. Perhaps next time don’t be lazy with what you throw out. Maybe people reading would like details as some come here and read and that is pretty much it.

I honestly don’t think they care about the non losing season streak itself

I do think after seeing Jim Rooneys book the Rooney family has redefined what success of the franchise means to them. They’ve bent numbers to see Tomlins time here including the past 10 years as successful based on wins instead of looking at the awful losses and losing streak in the playoffs, and based on their commitment to the legacy of the Rooney rule and them continuing employing Tomlin as a vehicle of that legacy, as long as the team is making the playoffs every couple of years nothing is going to change

Until the attitude of the Rooney family change -probably not until a new Rooney takes over, we as fans that want the team to compete for championships and for Tomlin to be held accountable for not doing that in a LONG time are screwed

You can call me DIC, and thanks for all your great post(s) along the way.

How about the Cleveland game where they took him out and the back up (name escapes me but he was know as the porn stash) wasn’t getting it done……..

Ben re-entered the game late and drove to a victory, all the while on one leg and 1/2 an arm.

A cognizant, logical post made by a man who can actually think. Clown-lin isn't capable of actual thought, a man who thinks p-ssing his pants is a clever way to thought that can trap us in outdated thinking patterns and generate fear and division through unconscious reactions based on past experiences. Only a dolt would think he's being witty. Run, run, short pass behind the line of scrimmage, punt...endlessly for 90% of the game. Yea, Clown-lin, you sure are smart. Why don't you yell "I'm working here" at a fan at halftime again. You actually believe that you're a great coach? God help us. And Art think he's a wise owner? God help us again. And Kahn, you're not helping matters. Your draft picks are not omnipotent.

DT Harmon would be the ideal pick, had he not torn his labrum which is an automatic surgery need at some point, which yinzers fail to face. HE NEEDS surgery, period. 2nd round used on a medium-level WR while ditching our only other WR to end up right where we were last year: an offense with only one decent target, FAIL. A 3rd rounder RB who is probably better than Harris, who was a wasted 1st rounder. Our 4th rounder is not a bad pick, an edge rusher who lacks lean and won't see many sacks. A 5th rounder who will be gassed in about 3 plays. A 6th rounder LB here because of his last name, a Clown-lin nepotism favorite: have right last name, join the team. But Kahn is just a genius.

'23 and '24 drafts: not much to brag about there. And we STILL have done nothing about the QB position. It's 2025. Ben has been retired or washed up for 5 years. Rooney, Clown-lin or Kahn haven't done anything. There latest "fix" is a 41 and 1/2 year-old Rogers. No end in sight.

This seems like it could be a situation where both Howard and Rudy get a lot more offseason work because A-aron ain't here.

That is not the worst thing for this season, because as you correctly point out, it isn't gonna take Rodgers that long to learn the 12 page playbook.

You're the guy that's sitting at the bar that people sit down next to and last about five minutes before they have to get up and move because you talking is like fingernails on a chalkboard.

Enjoy your self-love. I have no interest. People like yourself looking for an argument where you can hide behind your computer crack me up. Find someone else to latch onto. I've grown bored. PS, several others read my post and contributed like normal people. Sorry you can't control yourself. Take the last word, dance around your duplex and present yourself with a trophy for winning an internet wizzing contest. Yawn.

Agree 100%.
I only heard about the cancer thing recently but I stand by my original assertion that he doesn't want to go to OTA's and minicamp and will sign after that.
Also if he wants to keep playing, the Steelers are his last option.
