It's easy to debate with our aged wisdom how stupid it is for a young man celebrating the end of college and beginning of a professional sports career to get his car searched when pulled over for not being in the right lane.
Which, if it was enforced properly everywhere and to all the middle aged and older ******** on the highways would make me a much happier driver.
Sure he could have not had weed, banged cheerleaders, drank a little much or done a host of other things that college kids do all the ******* time, have done all teh time, and will continue to all teh ******* time.
He was smart enough to be clean when it counted.
He did not get arrested.
I got my car searched every time I got pulled over for BS when I was his age.
It's fishing, and it works.
You can agree to the search, or you can know your rights they will arrest you and search the car prior to tow,
I had that happen.
The BS arrest charges were unfounded and dropped. My buddies weed and bowl were charged at the maximum possible.
I bailed my car out once released, then bailed him out.
A little extra revenue.
Did I do stupid **** then?
Absolutely.
And I'm not idiotic enough to think that having even more to celebrate would have stopped me from doing it again.
Getting popped at a drug test you know is coming up is ******* stupid.
Getting popped on a BS traffic shakedown is a bad break in a young mans life.
