CBS 7 Rounder

Either switch out Carter in the third or grant in the fourth. Maybe both.

1. Owamagbe Odighizuwa, DE, UCLA
I don't think we'll end our streak of taking a CB in the first...even if Trae Waynes is there.

2. Ronald Darby, CB, Florida State
We love Seminole defenders and his 3-cone is better than Waynes'

3. Jaquiski Tartt, S, Samford
WTF is this dude?! Sounds like a monster at safety. 6'1" 221lbs. Says he tackles aggressively. We lack that.

4. Ifo Ekpre-Olomu, CB, Oregon
Probably would have been a 1st rounder prior to hurting his knee. Of all the other guys available, he's arguably the most talented at this pick.

5. Marcus Hardison, DT, Arizona State
nice size for a DE (even though he's listed as a DT). Some drafts have him as a 2nd or 3rd rounder.

6. Zach Wegenmann, EDGE, Montana
6. (Comp) Matt Jones, RB, Florida

7. Cameron Clear, TE / OT, Texas A&M

This. This is THE draft I want, with the exception that I take David Johnson if he's still there in the 6th

Amazing mock, I'd change Darby for Rowe only

1. Owamagbe Odighizuwa, DE, UCLA
I see the value of a cornerback, but the Steelers passed on Dennard last season and Waynes was trained at the same school. Although Ray would be tempting, Owa is a monster against the run and has the athleticism to develop as a pass rusher. Won't start as a rookie, but could see significant snaps splitting time with Moats. Physical presence this defense needs.

2. Ronald Darby, CB, Florida State
The first two rounds of the CBS draft wasn't bad, but Darby has first-round talent with his elite speed and QBs didn't look his way all too often.

3. Adrian Amos, S, Penn State
Intelligent safety who can play the Ryan Clark role for the Steelers and allow Mitchell/Thomas to play inside the box.

4. Wes Saxton, TE, South Alabama
Can develop into an all-around tight end and solid second option for the future.

5. Senquez Golson, CB, Ole Miss
Doesn't have ideal size, but is a playmaker at cornerback and can develop into a very good player at nickel.

6a. Sean Hickey, OL, Syracuse
Local kid who gets a chance to play for his local team. Can compete at tackle or guard.

6b. Matt Jones, RB, Florida
Role player and depth in the backfield.

7. Derrick Lott, DL, Chattanooga
Big-bodied prospect who will add depth to the defensive line.

1. Shane Ray, DE, Missouri You can't pass up the value at this point, love his intensity.
2. Jordan Phillips, DT, Oklahoma BPA available and McClendon is a FA next year.
3. Alex Carter,CB, Stanford Prototypical Steeler CB
4. Ifo Ekpre-Olomu, CB, Oregon Double dip at CB and BPA
5. Gerod Holliman, S, Louisville Ball hawk to develop behind Mitchell
6A. Sean Hickey, OT/OG, Syracuse Depth for the OL
6B Matt Jones, RB, Florida Was in for a visit and makes sense here.
7, Cameron Clear, TE , Texas A&M Late round project

1. Owamagbe Odighizuwa, DE, UCLA
2. Eric Rowe, CB, Utah
3. Alex Carter, CB, Stanford
4. Jesse James, TE, Penn State
5. Jamil Douglas, OG, Arizona State
6A. Anthony Harris, S, Virginia
6B. Karlos Williams, RB, Florida State
7. Ellis McCarthy, DT, UCLA

i like this draft but i think tartt will be gone by the the end of the second

1 Shane Ray, OLB Missouri
2 Ronald Darby, CB, Florida State -addressing the first two needs with value
3 Duke Johnson, RB, Miami - With no guarantee with Williams, I solidify a potential problem area early in the season
4 Ifo Ekpre-Olomu, CB, Oregon - Double up on the weakest position on the team
5 Gerod Holliman, S, Louisville - I would try him at FS and if he wins the starting role I would then move Mitchell to SS.
6 Mario Alford, WR, West Virginia - good value at this point enough quicks to give a look in the slot.
6 comp Justin Coleman, CB, Tennessee- - Long shot but with a weak secondary triple up.
7 Karlos Williams, RB, Florida State - another option and late value

If the best CB in the draft is there that late in the first and they don't take him, all of them need to be shot. Fired wouldn't be enough. At some point you have to at least make an attempt to address how ****** the ones on the roster are.

1.Byron Jones CB Connecticut
great athlete who tape is pretty good too. Upside is tremendous

2. Hau'oli Kikana OLB Washington
Arguably the most pro ready OLB in the draft as far as knowing how to use his hands. relentless

3 Davis Tull OLB Chattanooga- Tenn
Small school prospect who only attended a small school because of injury his senior year of high school. great athlete. i traded our 5th pick to move up to take him could be a steal.

4. Ifo Ekpre-Olumo CB Oregon
May have to wait a bit but hes a first round pick if not for the injury

6. Sean Hickey OT/OG Syracuse

6. Mario Alford WR West Virginia

7. Cameron Clear TE Texas A&M

Doesn't surprise me you would criticize my mock instead of just doing one of your own

I don't waste time on mocks but I don't waste a draft pick on a slow OLB that runs a 4.93 40.

then you can stop mocking the ones who are mocking the mocks. amirite?

so why are you even in this thread?? that guy has alot of production in a big conference. not to mention i followed it up with another OLB who topped out as one of the most athletic in the draft class. one with production and with potential. same at corner

I suppose it is a mock thread. If you can't mock the draft, appearently it's easier to mock a poster... ;)

Surprised at how good the CBS mock is regarding our teams needs. If we take Tartt then it's because we honestly think that Mitchell is a FS and we need a SS. It wouldn't surprise me if we take a more athletic guy to be a FS and move Mitchell into SS.

I Mock those who question a non-MOCKER's mock, of other mockers!!!!
