Thursday Night, Right after a Ravens game... right before a Bengals game, the second of 4 division games in a row...
(screw the NFL schedule making pricks)

Clevelands D hasnt been as good as it was last year. They still can have great games, but their Run d hasnt been good and they compromise their Pass D to rectify that.

My guess is its a Run Run Pass game for us with a few deep shots here and there.

On O, the Browns Passing game is much improved with Winston in there. The last 3 games they average 303 yards passing
Their Rushing game sucks... their Oline is in shambles... their LT Wills literally quit on the team rather than come back from injury... he is one of 4 OTs on IR... their one decent starter at T left is five games removed from a year plus absence due to a terrible injury...

This is the Browns Super Bowl. Let them hang around and it will be a dogfight till the end, but that team is quitting on their coach, so if we can get a good lead and keep on the gas... they could just fold by halftime...

I believe after the hard fought game Sunday, this could be the typical “lay an egg” game Mike Tomlin’s teams are well known for.

It would be refreshing to see the team come out in beast mode and finish this game before halftime. I don’t see this happening, because I still don’t see that kind of heart in this team. I would not be surprised to see another Boz kicking clinic, in an 18-15 loss.

Typical Steeler trap game especially after a hard fought division game four days earlier.
You never know which Winston will show up. The one that throws multiple TDs or the one that throws multiple ints.
The Steelers have to be of the mentality of stepping on the throat of lesser opponents early and often and not let them hang around like in years past.
This is Tomlin’s job to ensure these guys have that type mentality.

Rumors Swirl in the Cleveland Toilet Bowl that head Coach Kevin Stephanski will be fired if he loses this game...

The Steelers love to get Browns coaches canned... its their specialty... I am now 50% more confident in a win this week, but the one in three weeks gets more questionable🤦🏻‍♂️

Shades likes to keep it close.

I sense a Browns collapse against the Steelers.
Sure, they'll be all hyped up for their rival but the Browns will Brown up the place as usual.
I hope so, but too many variables -
Tomlin
fatigue
overlooking a lesser opponent
Tomlin
Sucky luck.

Can't call this game.
Nothing will surprise me.

Yeah about that fatigue the clowns played Sunday and the lowly Saints whooped that arse.

Why would the Steelers be more fatigued? Both teams played so our team won’t be any less tired than their team.

About that lesser opponent. They are a divisional team. Steelers know they will be giving their best shot.

Also I don’t think with Smith we can think the old patterns will be on repeat. Not to say the Steelers won’t lose games or think they will be some playoff Juggernaut. They will and probably won’t.

I would actually be surprised if they played down. I think this team has a sense of urgency and is healthier and a better team than the clowns.

I think Thursday they will show just that.

Agreed. Or not.

3 games is a small sample size. Two of those 3 games were against Baltimore and New Orleans who are both bottom quarter of the league for YPA on defence. The one game Winston played against a good pass defence (the Chargers) he had 1 Touchdown, 3 interceptions, 6 sacks and 5.1 YPA.

Recent success has people developing short memories. This is still the same team that lost to Dallas at home, nothing will be easy and likely come down to the last play of the game.

That's why I am not predicting this game. Too many variables.

nice snow game to slow down winston

najee and warren do their best Bus impression and roll over the stains
Forecast looks interesting. High winds. So I hope you are right.

The Steelers have an outside shot at a #1 seed, no way they lose to the Browns. Their best weapon Chubb is not 100% and may never be again.
The D needs to pressure Winston Cover Njoku and run the ball down their throats on offense.

Jim Schwartz, the defensive coordinator, is the only person that scares me. The rest of the team, no. But Schwartz knows Tomlin well.

Weather for tomorrow's game looks like it could be a factor! I see a low scoring, knock down drag out affair. I just hope our Steelers come out on top. This is Cleveland's Super Bowl....make no mistake about it they will be amped up and ready for this game!

Most of the Thursday games have been very poor this year. Considering this is a division game as well i think it will be a just plain ugly game. We should be able to squeeze out a win, but it won't be easy

But as I mentioned elsewhere it isn’t the same team. Steelers were without Warren and started Fields. And Cowboys had a capable Dak at the helm. The running game flows smoother with Warren out there as evidenced that they lost both games without him.

They still might struggle but it won’t be because they are trotting out the same circumstances, they aren’t.

if they can have success in the running game with Najee and Warren and then shut down chubb and the stains runners

the Steelers will run away with this one
