Any of you that live in the Pittsburgh area have probably heard of him. He's been around the Pittsburgh media scene since attending Duquesne University in the early 90s. He's written for both major newspapers in Pittsburgh, appeared on local sports talk shows and television shows while covering the city we love.
Recently he decided to branch out and start his own web site DKonPittsburghsports.com and it has been met with a great following.

So today we at Steeler Nation would like to welcome Dejan to our family as he will be showing us the love on his web site and we will be doing the same here.

So please give him a nice welcome whenever he gets over here.

I really like Dejan's work and he gives Mark Madden a little crap from time to time on his radio show. Great addition and welcome!

He is one of the few guys that I trust with Pens stories... I am admittedly often disappointed in the state of Pittsburgh Sports media, but he is a brighter spot. Good job getting him onboard.

I'm not one to pay for news sites, Dejan has changed that aspect. Worth it for sure. Support DK on Pittsburgh Sports.


I might add that THIS site, SteelerNation has kept me sane after leaving the Burgh for greener yet colder pastures. So SN is #1, Dejan a close second.

I've read Dejan's work since his Pens beat back on that Paper that shall not be mentioned, his move to the Trib on the Bucco beat and his subsequent promotion. Love his take on Pittsburgh Sports and his recent endeavor. I don't always agree with him but always appreciate his position when that occurs.

Agreed. His columns and news blow away the competition. Well worth it.
 
Welcome Dejan - do I pronounce that "De-jan" or "Di-jon"??? Either way it's mustard and that's yellow - COOL!!!
