Suppose the Patriots were in the AFC North or West

It seems like Jets, Fins and Bills have improved this off season and Pats have declined a bit.
Maybe the tables are turning, particularly if Suh gets to step on Brady a few times.

I seriously doubt it. I've been hearing this for over a decade now.

By chance do you live near one of those smelly paper mills near Jacksonville? Mind yer P's and Q's or I'll start another mock draft thread :)
Come on down...I'll show you my pup tent next to the smell paper mills...
The question is: "did you get paid for your work?"
No, the question is, what moves your bowels?
Greedy *******. You probably took ExLax just to earn a profit.
I'm still trying to pass the test...my rectum is burning and my head hurts from thinking how to excrete "chyt" that will heal. Kinda like the intentions of this thread...

.

My in laws live in Jax. I'll stop by with my latest paper mock draft which can be burned in the mills. As for the tent, I'll pass. I stay away from Brokeback Mountain implications.

realistically only this website gives a **** about deflategate, tuck rule, spygate etc.
think about it... if the steelers won championships the way the pats have the last 15 years, would anyone here somehow NOT count them? call it whatever you guys want... i wouldn't give any *****.
you guys and all that win with dignity/steeler way can have that.

Why not just wait at the tunnel and blast the teams best players in the knees with baseball bats before the game, or drug their gator aid? If you win by cheating you did not win the game but something of much less value. If that is the case why play the game?

Steeler way has nothing to do with it and this website isn't the only one:

Americans think Pats cheated, rooting for Seahawks

Don't really care how many of their fans pitch a fit over the fact that they are now hated. That's what happens when you cheat. Don't like it? Stop ******* cheating.

Just go down the list of quarterbacks on those "other" three teams rosters over the last ten years.....tell me, who the **** strikes fear in anyone ? Kelly, Marino and Favre arent around anymore.

I'll wait............

**** those cheatin mofo's.....and oh BTW, its been exactly 60 days since Deflategate broke ....and its been crickets.......this league and its "favoritism" is beyond sickening

GTFOH...the Ravens fans despise those cheatin ***** as much as we do........the Raiders fans are especially bitter about the Tuck game....and then the league overall still remembers Snowplow fiasco.............Brady was injured 5 seasons ago and they drafted a rule in his ****** honor to protect quarterbacks even more..........

I dont wish to ally myself to a proven cheater.......and it must be hard work for Cheatriot fans to constantly have to deal with even the more respectful fans who smile and nod, all the while thinkin "you cheatin ******* still think youre legit champions....".

Theyre the Lance Armstrongs of football in my book......threatening others who claim they were cheatin.....sounds familiar...........

yeah they would be scared to play in a division with teams they own and then the benglas who haven't won a playoff game in 20 years, the clowns, the rats and then the steeelrs who they dominate and haven't won a playoff game in 5 years,

yawn!!!!!!!!!!

I was on the Seahawks' board leading up to the SB and they were amazed at the number of fans from other teams checking in to wish them luck and karma.

yawn!!!!!!!!!!

Easier to yawn then use logic.

Point is...if they were in this division, they'd dominate it.
As noted earlier in this thread, they're almost 80 percent win percentage in the last 15 years against this division. Keep fooling yourself thinking they'd have trouble

**** them, I remember them banning Steelers fans because they were still crying over sbxl. They benefited by the fact that they were slightly less detestable than the pats.

Yeah give me all those devastating deep reasons the Pats would be scared of Tomlin and the rest of our mediocre division, should be riveting. Of course when we have the chance to play them they dominate us but I'm sure that giving Tomlin more chances would show his incredible coaching ability not yet seen after 8 years kinda like he is on double secret probation . But then again you are an idiot.

No ...I'm just tired of reading the same old same old from you in every post you put on here. Every chance you get you write the same thing. And I can't even say i disagree with you on everything.

example:

Steelers are this and that. Tomlin is this and that. You are an idiot. /Hanratty

Go ahead and copy and paste if you want. It will same you some typing.

Fact is teams build themselves to beat the teams in there respective division. Maybe they would still kick the **** out of us or maybe we would of built our teams a little different. I don't think we will ever know though.

Point thats being overlooked is the rivalry element......they being in the division would spark intense hatred ...as if there isnt already enough. When rivalries develop, **** changes..........Cleveland, who is far inferior of a franchise often presents challenges to the divisional rivals. I just dont see them kickin our ***** year in and year out. This division has better players, better run franchises w the exception of Cleveland, and better coaches, than whats over in the AFC East. Better quarterback play ............

Even with all that the Steelers get hammered by the pats* all the time... as does the rest of the division.... as does almost every top team they play. The bungles haven't won a playoff game in decades. The clowns are the clowns. The rats are the only real challenge to the pats*. So all this drama over one team? A team the pats* just beat to go to the SB?

They already kick our and everybody's ***** year in and year out. Regardless of the division. Hell the Jets kicked our ***** this year. Just much to do about nothing IMHO.

The Steelers beat the Pats at home last time they played at Heinz. Would the Pats still be good in our division, Yes. Would those extra 1-3 losses a year in the standings effect the Pat's ability to get to the Superbowl and reduce their number of championships? Without question.

And the Steelers lost to the Jets the last time they played. So I guess if the Steelers moved into the AFC East they'd lose an extra 1-3 games a year right? The fact is that the Steelers have a horrible record against the pats** the past decade. So does every team. Everybody talks about division rivals but that misses the point that the Steelers become rivals as well. Wouldn't the pats** in turn play the new division rivals tougher?

Had this discussion here a little while back and I looked into the numbers. The AFC teams with the best winning percentage against the Pats* since 2000 were the Phins (11-19) and Broncos (7-8). The majority of the losses against those two teams occurred away from New Cheatland in the warmth of Miami or the thin air of Denver (8 of 11 in Miami, 5 of 7 in Denver). The next best team against them was the Jets (10-22). The only team to garner two playoff wins against them was the Rats, both occurring in New Cheatland. And just for comparison's sake, the Bills are 4-26 against the Pats* since 2000. Even the Browns and Bengals both managed two wins against the Cheats in a lot fewer games. In fact, the only team with a worse winning percentage than the Bills against the Pats* with Belicheat are the Jags, who have never beaten them in six tries.

I'd put the Cheats in a division with the Broncos, Phins and Rats. Guarantee that they play at least once every year in both Miami and Denver and let them get beat up twice a year by the Rats and see if they still get home field every year.

On paper, it does seem like the Jets, Bills and Phins have gotten better so far this offseason. But the Jets and Bills still don't have QBs so I don't count them as threats yet.

True, there are still some real douchebags over there who were saying that all the people checking in weren't real fans and that they just wanted the Seahawks to win because they hate the Pats**.
Then some saner people would weigh in and say that karma is karma and this is why people think we're douchebags and they would argue with each other. I had my life threatened. It was comical to me.

Which proves my point. You have to find teams from 3 different divisions just to find teams that would work. Moving them to the AFC North helps nothing.... moving them into any real division does nothing. Only made up, cross country, and intra divisions teams would work.

BTW why not move Indy? What's their record with Manning in interdivision play? Shouldn't that have been done years ago?

For the two seasons Manning got to play against Belicheat in the East before realignment, the Colts were 1-3 against the Pats*. After realignment in 2002, the Pats* initially won 4 straight against them with 2 of those wins coming in the postseason. Then, from '05 to '10, the Colts went on a 5-2 run against the Pats*. So the Colts with Manning were 6-9 overall against the Pats*. The Pats* are now 5-0 against the Manning-less Colts and 4-0 against Luck. And the games with Luck haven't even been competitive with the average margin of victory being 29 points. If the old Colts with Manning got to stay in the East, I'm assuming things would have been a bit more difficult for the Pats*. Conversely, they'd probably also have been a bit more difficult for the Colts.

As for the Colts with Manning in interdivision play, against the:

AFC East (26-26, includes games from when the Colts were in the East)
North (22-4, 8-2 against the Rats, 2-2 against the Steelers, undefeated against the Bungles and Browns)
West (22-10)
South (42-13)

Looking at that, the North fared worse against Manning and the Colts than they did against Brady and the Cheats.

My point was that Indy dominated their division just like the pats**. Nobody has ever said to re-work the division because of them. I hate the pats** as much as anyone. But all this talk about bad divisions is just pointless. The Steelers are in a division with the clowns and the bungles. Two of the door mats of the NFL. One that struggles to get to .500 and one that is soft and always underachieves and hasn't won a playoff game in decades.
