Steelers don't want to get better

We're doing far better than the Dolphins so far. Steeler FA starts when all the idiots leave the scrap pile with overpaid junk then we scavenge the remains.

When you call yourself someone's "taint" - I suspect that someone wears spanks, pumps and shiny tight pants...
 
Maybe this is why we didn't even offer him a contract. Sometimes the front office knows just a little bit more then the fan does. As bad as our secondary is I would still pass on him.

We lost our mastic under Tomlin, we use to be a physical team and as one said more physical than Baltimore.

I think Keith Butler bringing back an attack style form of defense, will help out our players a lot. Playing defense on our heels, was one of the biggest problems IMO.

You have to get results though. How many times did we blitz the house the last couple of seasons only to see every blitzer get picked up? We have the same players here. A wait and see game at this point I guess.

You really think LeBeau just stopped attacking? People are in for a rude awakening when they see the same 10 yard cushions and Jones and Co. still not touching a QB. There is nothing Butler can do to make these guys get to the QB. And leaving our CBs on an island while our underachieving LBs blitz is a death sentence.

Why the heck not? There are a couple of guys that may be sitting there that we can plug right in. I wonder - with LeBeau gone - if rookie defenders will get ushered into significant roles earlier than in years past? Bud Dupree looks solid to me, who knows if he can play LOLB in our D as a rookie.
